We don't have a max file size for uploads at all.

Actually, our folders aren't real folders but file lists in order to provide better access to linked files, besides that, you can put 1 file in several 'folders' at the same time.

I tried the newest version (6.1.4) of the uploader myself and it worked, please try it again after updating your tool.

Official threads require verification, e.g. for a mod they will make a uploaded.to/testing123sbga.txt file so they can prove they own the website Much like you do with filehosts when you want the webmaster 5% or w/e
