not sure mate, i cant say only what i believe to be true in that statement with smokescreen.but i do know for fact that RS owe LW a 6 figure sum, that is fact.obviously LW has pulled the plug on them.whether RS has been trying to get LW to give them back the servers i dont know, or even if its ongoing i dont know.but i very highly doubt.everyone give up why ya still in hope?they have gone and im 99.99% sure they wont return.do ya not think they wud have been more helpful if they were gonna stick around?why risk losing all your custom?why?because why go through all the effort to keep peeps updated when they aint comin back

Um remember Before-Yesterday in the main RapidSpeeds thread,
i posted that they owe a 6 figure amount.

Anyway latest update:

If Leaseweb actually bought them over i'm sure they would say it upfront,
what they said is that that message on the twitter of RapidSpeeds
did not come from them and that they can not confirm that it's true.

Also if they did buy them over they would of assured me everything
is going to be ok ect...

basically the chat sales person told me:
"I do not have any information confirming this"

I think we will never find another provider who will sell us VPS for 12e and in that package we will have unlimited bandwith with 1Gbit port and 200GB storage...

If someone know some cheap VPS provider, who will let us to us Rapidleech and other.. Please to inform us...

Who is that 12e for 200GB 1gbit? With that many people per server though performance will be shit..

I doubt they owe 6 figures, at least not in monthly, but perhaps to pay off the end of their contracts (which would actually be millions).

If it(RS) was taken up by Leaseweb then they(LW) would have made a statement about it at that particular instance. Why would they wait to announce this & lose thr would be customers if they are taking over RS at all

Guys awake - Some of your still are having hopes with rapidspeeds.
Its high time to switch to another host, there's no use waiting for them and wasting our valuable time.
Be sure that Leaseweb team won't disclose any information about it however smart you try to act on live support of theirs.

People who say that they have websites hosted, you need to start again from beginning otherwise you'll keep on loosing visitors and in a few days when you even manage to get back the backup, you'll find no visits on your site because of this long delay.
Your ranking in search engines (if any) will drop. You can't go on saying to your visitors that its not your fault but Rapidspeeds and trying to pull each of them back to your site.

I have prepared myself about this loss and have therefore already ordered new servers from other host.

I myself wasted 24 hours reading replies of everyone in the threads and then came to a conclusion that there is none except Darren who can say the truth. But he already ran away.

Do you still expect him to come and say sorry to you guys for this delay ?

Business to Business contracts are generally a bit more lenient on payment terms and debt collection.

I'd imagine, if it has got to the point where LW completely turned them off, there won't be any further discussion other than "See you in court"

Though it does seem that LW taking control of RS clients is a likely scenario. I know many contracts for services include a non-payment clause where the service provider can take control of the end users to continue to provide them service.

But there is no use if LSW take's RS, only you get your data back (it's imp) As all know there is huge difference between RS and LSW bandwidth pricing and LSW not going to offer same bandwidth rate so LSW know that many customers not going to renew
