I have no idea. I know that he was part of RS from posts here on WJ but have no idea of his real life name/identity and was hoping someone else would ID him.
 
Where are you Rapidspeeds why are not doing anything. Now it's been more than 8 hours since you last updated your twitter.

Please let us know how long it is gonna take cuz 18 hours is already gone now.:O

DAMN I am a hardcore Uploader and my uploading is now stuck in a major storm. Don't know when it is gonna get clean...:'(

We're still here. We had a 5-6Gbps DDoS going on when I went to bed – what happened after that I do not know, as I had to be out almost all day today. If I get anymore info I'll let you know.
The whole company thing is just a coincidence with us moving to a company based in another country for tax reasons.



I was also coincidentally banned at WJ for having a dupe account. Bad day :/
 
I choose to believe that they're working round the clock to solve these problems since their entire network is down.

If you are into online business and having a major issue then the owner shouldn't be sleeping by having a full banana with a milk. Take half milk and half banana so one shouldn't go in a deep sleep..:(

I've been sitting here for all day to wait for my servers resume:facepalm:
It will be better for them to not say that as an excuse!! I am a customer with knowinservers for over/about 1 year now. This is the first time my server is down for more than 1 hour!

Damn, how can they even think of sleeping while so many of us around the web keeping ourselves up to see the fate of our sites/servers?
 
Correct, its not just 1-2 server owners. Many of them (incl. me) run a hosting business and all our clients are facing this problem too.

So, its thousands of people who are affected because of this downtime.

They should atleast care to update us even if their reply would be "We are still working on this".
 
We are working on this it is up to our engineers to fix this. As you know with so many servers down this will take some time. We will update you guys when we have a proper announcement.
 
I totally agree guys.. Internet doesnt sleep.. But humans do, that's too bad..
