After GearServer fucked up my database, Sp32 manage to fix it somehow, and now i'm having lots of problems setting up the email (errors everywhere) for some reason, but after all is very nice to see that he really cares to help the clients with all the problems we are facing. :sun:

The new server is working very good and the support is a looot more than i would have ever expected for a $2 hosting :)

Just the hosting, I wouldn't be able to be that cheap for a domain too.

Sorry about this, I was securing the server and it did mention it may disable scripts, I have re-enabled ini_set for you.

There was an issue with AlertPay accepting orders automatically, I have now fixed this for future payments/registrations. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hmm, yeah, sorry about the E-Mail situation, I don't know how to set it up to work with WLM. Despite that thanks for your kind words :)
 
Thanks for your interest Mr-R-T, I'm aware of this issue and I have contacts WHMCS about it, they told me it is a problem with port 43 not being open/being blocked by a firewall but I've allowed port 43 and the problem is still occurring, I'm waiting on a reply from them.

Seems I found a way around it, I registered an account first then went to the order page and that seemed to work, just for your FYI. :)

None of my plans realistically have enough bandwidth to provide hosting to an image host, I will allow it but if it takes up too much CPU usage I would have to suspend the account and refund the money.
 
Pricing on the shared hosting will be raising soon due to the opening/promotion of HiloHost coming to an end and for the company to start earning money as a full server can't to pay for itself at this current time which is causing me to be at a financial loss, prices will be expected to rise on the starter plan mainly.

Also there will be Virtual Private Server services set up soon, plans to start this will commence once the winter holidays have started.

hi guys.,

one host named x provide...20GB Space...100 GB bandwidth...
hilohost provide very less 1GB Space....Only 50GB bandwidth...
another host named y provide 70GB Space...250GB bandwidth...
etc...
etc...

all of them provide for the same cost 1.99$....but why so much...variation...what's the difference...??

its quite obvious...everybody choose only host named y..,as it provides more...

but i'm confused...whether trusted host provide only less...or untrusted provide more...to lure more people...into their host and scam them....how to choose host...??

need some help....

Hi, you're right to think that. My plans originally started off low so I could get a good understanding on how I could spread all the storage/bandwidth amongst the accounts.

Some hosts just start off so they charge small prices, some hosts buy cheap servers so they can give more.

With my host certain lawful agencies are ignored when they make complaints which means the client won't get annoying e-mails asking them to remove threads/posts. It all comes down to personal preference. Would you rather pay a little more for someone who looks more trustworthy, less for someone who doesn't look as trustworthy but get more in return etc.

Will you provide free migration from Shared plans to VPS? Willing to start an small project but wanna have expansion features to fit our next months resources needs.

Hi, I'm unsure if I will be providing any migration services, it will depend on compatibility with what software I choose. If it means me manually setting everything up then no as that will take too much of my time, thanks for your interest.

I've also raised the bandwidth and space on the starter plan.

i'm very disappoined...;)

just now u started...as a host...and...within few weeks...u increase...the starter pack to 3.29$

even the well reputed... knownsrv host... offer shared host ...for 2.99$...

whether u keep on increase the prices in future...??

how would i/we fix or settle u as a host for long time...!!!:O
 
^^ He has also raised the amount of disk space you get as well as the amount of bandwidth. HiloHost is a new company and as such need time to build and develop, KnownSRV on the other hand have been around for a long long time in comparisson.

Another thing to consider is that most shared hosting companies drastically over sell the servers which KnownSRV may do (before anybody starts I have no idea if they do or not nor am I accusing them of such doing I am simply trying to make a point). HiloHost on the other might not over sell and as such there are fewer people on the server which means less income which bumps up the price a little.

Just a few things for you to perhaps think about and consider (y)

I don't know why , but somehow i trust Sp32 verymuch ! I never trusted anyone who was selling hosting here that much . I don't think that is because he is mod here and have respect . Just they way he treats customers , th way he asnwers to question , always being polite , always giving detailed answers . maybe he is doing this like that cause he just started , and still didn't annoyed with all that sh*t . i can't explain , but i just belive him , and i think that is the most important thing !
