@cvrle77 Our only income is premium sales. If your traffic is not convertible for us, we will ask you to leave our affiliate network and join another one. In the next month, we are thinking to add ads only in files uploaded by people who work on PPD. Then, if things will go well, we can afford even such affiliates.

We are a business, and that will destroy us, so we cannot allow that. If you are working on PPD, and earning 400$ with traffic that is not converted, please join another company that allows that (doubt that any company wants to lose their money).

I hope you understand my explanation, and I was trying to be as clear as possible.

I don't think that any file host want's to give money as charity...

I appreciate your honest answer, however:

1. I don't see this anywhere stated on your site. Which means, hidden rule, that will swim up sooner or later, will force people to call you scam.
2. If my traffic is not convertible for you, how's that my concern as an affiliate?
3. I am uploader, I can't beat or anyhow force people to buy premium account with you, that is their own decision, and it is up to you to be attractive, so they buy account.
So, If you fail in that, I repeat, how's that any of my concern? I am only promoting your service as an uploader, I can't do anything to make YOU more attractive to downloaders. It's up to you to do that.
If you are going to ban people that can massively bring traffic to your site, you'll never grow big, and eventually, you'll fail, and close service, I hope you are following me here. That is 100% sure. Unless you are trying to make 50$ a week for yourself....

Here why I am saying that...Everyone who's on PPD, will, with more files uploaded, start to earn more money, from week to week. You'll face a collapse, once when you realize that you don't have enough premiums sold to pay your affiliates, and you'll end up like usershare...

I don't post in these filehost threads because they're all horrible.

But seriously what a terrible, terrible business model. You don't have to funds to run this filehost properly, so instead you remove uploaders who don't earn you money? Seriously unprofessional.

On a sidenote I likely won't read this thread again so don't bother replying to me.

Reverse Response (yeah i made this up right now, its a reply which is posted before the post being replied to, TIME TRAVEL!):
You may have invested a lot, but if you can't afford to keep EVERY uploader, you're failing to fund your project correctly. Removing uploaders due to fear of financial losses is a sign of weakness and instability. If one uploader can cause you a loss, your business model is incorrect.

Oh and I did read it again since I was bored, but this time for real im out of here. This thread is making my brain hurt from frustration of seeing such absurdities.

Dear cvrle77

I fully understand everything, but look from our point of view. We are a business, and I am sure that you are aware of the high costs of running a file host (server, technicians, programmers + TIME). If you would have affiliates that will make 400$/week = 1600$/month (estimation), and their traffic is not converted at all, what would you do?

The problem is not on the attractiveness of our download/premium pages, but where the user comes from (don't want to judge any nationality, I respect everyone). For some countries , paying 10$/month for a Premium account is maybe a high amount that cannot be afforded.

Next month we are thinking to put ads on our website, and after we will test them, we probably can afford having even such affiliates.

Believe me, I'm not in this business to make 50$/week, I've invested thousand of dollars, and I WILL INVEST every single earning of GaiaFile to improve our service, and have a better one!

I'm trying to be honest, because we don't like to lie our affiliates/visitors/users :)

You are very wrong, we have invested really a lot, and we are ready to invest much more to have a better service. But investing money for nothing, please tell me at least one company that is doing that?

Edited, responding to JmZ:
In business, somethings are unpredictable. We aren't saying that we are not paying such affiliates, we're just saying that those big uploaders who generate that much traffic from not-convertible countries, should wait 1-2 weeks till we have our ad system integrated in GaiaFile. We are very new (this is the second or third week of us), and we currently have 3 servers. I think that is not bad as a start. Everything will be improved, we just need some time.

And I want to repeat again, because I don't want that affiliates will be feared for not being paid. We will not scam anyone, but if you have big traffic from not-convertible countries (make amounts like 400$ weekly) , please wait 2 more weeks till ads will be on our system.

Payments have been released through PayPal and AlertPay.
Two affiliates still didn't receive money because of an issue with PayPal, and I have just sent an e-mail to them with the problem, so we can resolve and they get their money as soon as possible.

Hope to see some screenshot ... :)
