But, Ricky, say if I downloaded 500 GB of files in one day using my private rapidleech and only this rapidleech, will my premium account be a candidate for suspension?
@iTwins: What's the "high" port? (81-65535)
What OS do you use?
I have simple linux box with apache2 preconfigured port on 82, and it works perfect.
@Taipan same here, I get up to 300 kb/s even though I have much faster internet connection.
Is this because I'm located in Europe?
@iTwins: I think the RL doesn't have a direct connection about the ports. It's just a php script. All you need to do is to change the port of your webserver, so I was asking you what's your webserver?![]()
lolx pulling 500gb in a day? damn thats some serious rape of servers XD
Sorry, actually I am using a Synology DS101g NAS box with some type of Linux OS (sorry I don't know anything about Linux). I normally change the port via the Synology's proprietory admin panel.
Does RL supports Apache for Windows? I can always install an Apache webserver on my laptop and run RL from there.
Thanks
RickyFS, no response to either of my emails, so i'll post it here.
Im unable to connect to FS from my home connection ( Comcast did something to block me :P )
So i purchased a RDP , will my account be disabled if i use the RDP and hidemyass web proxy to login to my account. I only download (which i rarely do) from FS , and i use the RDP.
But i login with more than one IP ( RDP, and w/e IP hidemyass gives)
Im in australia.. I have a usenet account which is hosted in US and get 1300 kb/sec from, i never have probs from US hosted sites, just Fileserve, its like my account with FS is throttled, ild be lucky to have downloaded 1-2 gig from FS since i joined..It could be. I hear those who complain of slow downloads usually come from Europe. But usually they complain of Hotfile. But then, Fileserve and Hotfile are both in the States, so that could be it.
In the beginning, Fileserve download speeds were very slow. I very seldom download from FS because I could never get more than 1 MB/s. Now it has come a long way and I am getting 5-6 MB/s regardless of time of day. The way I normally download (once in a blue moon 500 GB/day) I worry they might kill my account![]()
