I respectfully disagree with aqq007. I have been communicating with RickyFS regarding an accidental/inadvertent ban that should be lifted. He has been very helpful thus far in providing me with information and seems to be willing to listen to legitimate explanations. Based on my experience anyone who has a problem with the support is probably being rude or not providing enough information.

He simply ignored me. This was the last straw. Moving to Filesonic right now.

Hi Ricky,
Please could you clarify one thing. I have been over the last ten or so pages reading all the comments on the new implementations etc.

I use a Remote Desktop (I pm'd you about it earlier, and gave you the relevant details)... Am I right in saying that I can no longer 'download' from Fileserve using my RDP ? - only Upload. Or is this wrong, and I am just still waiting for the IP Address to be whitelisted ?

Thanks

need help

i ricky
my ip is 68.199.93.90, i was banned yesterday for no reason.i do not use RDP, i just put a lot of file on my download manager and download all day.i'm on optimum with a download speed of 2700.00 KB/sec, mayby is the speed that put me in trouble. i do not upload or use referal at all.

Need help too

Let me just clarify this for everyone reading this thread again; release of IPs are given to uploaders only. Not people we suspect could be running a service.

RickyFS, I sent a PM but haven't heard back from you. I've sent two messages through the FileServe "contact us" option and haven't heard back, either. I'm a FS Premium member, but I can't download anything. I'm a "real downloader." I'm just one single person that paid for unlimited downloads. I don't upload. I don't run a service. I've never shared my premium account. Am I staying banned just because Fileserve thinks that I "could be running a service"?

I'm what you call a "real downloader." Yes, I download a lot, but that's why I paid for "unlimited downloads." I only download from one IP, my home computer. If Fileserve won't let me download because I might be a cheater - I'm not - then please just cancel my account and give me a pro-rated refund so that I can switch to FileSonic. My Fileserve account name is oppligerfj. IP is 108.9.200.175

Well i doubt its only for upload since to be able to upload you have to download the files first lol...

Unless they want people to go to other hosts

We aren't going to lose a lot of customers.

Customers can still download their files @ an ever greater speed.
Uploaders can still upload their files AND make more money now.

Dirty leeches on services have been stopped. All legitimate users just need to wait a little before everything is back to normal.

Will attend to PMs in a couple of hours.

Thanks
