Hello,

This is not official thread, we came with this thread in order to transition into new platform correctly, feel free to report any bugs or share your thoughts and suggestions about our new system in this thread.

Update Byse 1.3.1
  • We have enabled file expiry by default; files will now be stored for 30 days. Every user has the ability to automatically upgrade their account to a longer file expiry period or no expiry at all if their traffic is high. Our system periodically checks whether the user is maintaining the required traffic and will automatically downgrade the file expiry time if a significant traffic decrease is detected. (This feature is under testing and will not be live until the end of March.)

i guess it had to come at some point. you just cant keep holding onto videos that are not making money.

it would be interesting to see the amount of TB that are going to be deleted after the first 30 days

As of the 1.3.1 update, we are happy to inform you that Filemoon is now fully deprecated. This means that all links no longer point to the outdated Filemoon platform, and the Byse player is served instead. Please note that Filemoon domains will continue to work until February 1st, so if you have not yet updated your embed links or direct links to Byse domains, you still have some time. After that date, Filemoon domains will be fully shut down. We will implement a grace period, after which, if you do not update your links, your account will be disabled, as we will not keep inactive accounts with no traffic.


Since we have reached a major milestone in the platform migration, we are pleased to announce that it is time to adjust the rates we pay and the features we offer. With the 1.3.2 update, we will switch our counting system by removing the old, outdated logic of counting views per IP. This method will no longer be used, as we believe our users deserve better than being limited by IP-based counting. Instead, we will begin counting views per unique device.


The new counting system will have no daily limits. Each unique device will be counted once per unique file per day. This means that if a viewer watches 100 different videos in a single day, all 100 views will be counted.


The new counting system will rely primarily on conversions, so each user may have different rates. We aim to take care of our advertisers as well as our users. The better your traffic converts, the higher your rate will be. The new system will also prevent situations where you earn less than our default rates. However, if we detect that your traffic does not convert at all, we may refuse to continue providing free services and require you to switch to 0% earnings mode or to premium services only.


We would also like to inform you that with this update, our custom domain system will automatically notify you if your domain is blacklisted by antivirus software or ad blockers. Please note that if your domain is blacklisted by antivirus software, we will disable earnings on your account until you update your domain to a new one.

  • We have corrected our popunder script for custom ads, which under some circumstances caused the player to be non-clickable.
  • We have fixed the telemetry page, which previously had issues loading bandwidth related data.
  • We have made changes to our backend encryption by adding an extra security layer dedicated to older devices. This now correctly allows the player to load on older devices such as Android 8–10, some TVs, and older browsers.
  • We have added support for HTTP sites that were previously unable to embed the Byse player.
  • We have fixed the time slider in the player; it now correctly displays preview images when hovering over the timeline.
  • We have re-implemented the skip intro feature in the player, as the button was previously outside of the visible area.
  • We have corrected the share buttons, which were previously providing an incorrect domain.
  • We have updated the dashboard viewer count to source data from telemetry, as telemetry is more accurate.
  • We have updated the search functionality. You can now search through files within a folder. This means that when you are in the root folder, you will only see files located in the root folder.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE 1.3.1 UPDATE WILL TAKE EFFECT DURING THE NIGHT OF JANUARY 16–17. DURING THIS UPDATE, MAINTENANCE WILL BE PERFORMED ON OUR EDGE SERVERS, STREAMING DOMAINS WILL BE UPDATED, AND THE EDGE CACHE WILL BE CLEARED.
I'm sorry, i don't get it.
So the file will be deleted after 30-day since upload?
Talk about traffic, what if there's error on video?

At least we're going to be told which files are going to be deleted. BEFORE they delete them and that's really considerate and respectful for Byse to do.

Gives everyone a chance to download the file and if necessary to make different arrangements

At least we're going to be told which files are going to be deleted. BEFORE they delete them and that's really considerate and respectful for Byse to do.

Files are removed 30 days after they no longer receive legitimate views. Artificially generating views to keep a file active is detected by our algorithm and does not prevent deletion.

Top traffic sites are frozen.​

The statistics are the same all day long, the percentages don't change.

I will look into it.

Can you update us on what's included in premium? It still says multi quality encoding etc. so I believe the page is outdated.

As premium user you still receive these:

1. Encoding/Transfering priority (Your files always encode live) via dedicated encoders.
2. Your files are stored on premium servers and are separated from normal users (Premium servers utilize NVME drives under RAID1+0 "Raid 10").
3. Your files are being streamed via our premium infrastructure (Premium users utilize different uplink connections in our MultiCast cdn and traffic is being pushed trough premium backbone providers).

People are complaining to me that this problem is popping up again on their links, here's a picture.



People also complain to me that they don't see subtitles on TV, while they do have subtitles on their computer or phone.

They also have a problem when watching a movie, the picture freezes halfway through and the sound is audible.

I don't know if it reached me or the links if it can help. I'm tired of this error "Error Code: 232011"

Does anyone here use the Zoom Uploader? Which URL do you use for uploads? Until just now, I was using Filemoon.to. It seems to be broken now. I'm getting this error: UP: GetUrl (HTTPProtocolException:HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found) (filemoon.to)

Both videos are working completly fine to me, please stop coming here with what your users report and verify everything before you post something, this will be very helpfull.

Regarding subtitles on TV's most TV platforms have trouble with HLS based subtitles, there is nothing we can do about it.
