^^ Its already morning in UK, they don't even bother to mention timezone X-(

Just realized that I don't have enough cash to buy another vps without getting refund from boxslots, I am pretty much f**ked now:facepalm:
 
Ah.. Bad luck.

Some money just came in for me, so I'll be getting a new vps soon.

As for the refund, I'll try getting it from boxslots directly before going through Paypal.

I don't want to cause them any harm (excessive paypal disputes can do this AFAIK) , but I don't want anything to do with them anymore either.
 
This was unexpected problem, due to lack of security by WHMCS. We cannot blame Boxslots, but yeah they have to take responsibility for their costumers. So this is my only way to prevent my important data lost. Buy a cheap VPS/ hosting below $5 which you can store you files if its too big. If it not too big enough, you can just download into your pc. You can host you website on another host/ server/ VPS.

This is the exact same behaviour i saw from rapid speeds before they jumped ship and ram.

When i spoke on live chat i was assured it would be up again within the hour, since then Boxslots has disabled chat, email , phone numbers and tickets. Ive already opened a paypal dispute and recommend you guys do the same, I can deal with server outage but when they start cutting off all forms of contact and have a twitter that has not been updated in three days it is a clear indication of unprofessional and unethical behaviour .
 
Then put it somewhere we can see instead of making us hunt for it. You know a massive influx of your new customers are from rapidspeeds so why are you making the same mistakes they did

We are NOT making the same mistake, if you don't get this issue then you should not reply with bullshit. Only because we didn't reply for a few hours "we runned away" ?

The mistake is lack of communication
all you need is 30 seconds to frequently update a twitter feed or blow or anything every few hours. YOUR boys are the ones who quoted me less then one hour, how am i meant to react if after three all lines of communication have been cut off ?

Your dealing with a load of people that just got lied to and ripped off by rapid speeds, business 101 would teach you that communication is key at this stage. How am i meant to know rickie is transfering the billing area ? All i saw was a whole bunch of deal links on a website, it wasnt on your twitter i because i checked that.

You should get your facts correct before you accuse people of talking bullshit.
 
You don't have to blame us for your experience with Rapidspeeds. That's not our fault.

We try to do our best to keep everyone updated, don't start complaining if you didn't heard from us for a few hours. We can't just put the client area back online again since it can be exploited again.

Again, we will keep this thread updated.
 
I'm afraid I have to agree with majbour - why hasn't BoxSlots released any information whatsoever on their homepage or by email or on twitter about what's going on? I appreciate that the situation is very unfortunate & they are working as hard as they can to get it resolved, but I'm extremely disappointed that the only information they have released is WHMCS has yet again another breach, We will be back with more updates shortly. It only takes 30 seconds to write an email briefly explaining the situation & what we as paying customers can expect - I don't expect to have to trawl google results to find forum postings to know what's going on!
 
Mate it has nothing to do with rapidspeeds its the mentality of the people you have just taken on board. We have just been stabbed in the back out of nowhere, miagrated to a new service and now the same events are happening again. We do not know better because you havnt told us better, all the average user can see is parts of your site fall down one by one with no way to contact you
 
majbour...you look like an idiot - calm down and let them fix things. They have been communicating here and on the forum and in tickets. They still have to sleep. If you think that waiting a few hours is the same thing as the RS situation then you really are ignorant.
 
C'mon guys chill out , everything will be fine in a few hours ..... Also theirs no need to flame on anyone ,boxslots is as good as it gets and they are doing their best ....

You dont make thousands if not millions of clients in a short time , without getting noticed by those nasty peeping toms ....
 
^ don't buy other be4 you get refund... they are greedy people (they don't refund people even if they are there for less then a day)

For the love of god, Stop talking shit, it makes you look bad!

Once the problem is resolved, they will refund you. or at least do something about it.
