And the files are not deleted in inactivity, I have files with almost 3 months old without a single download
You can make backup accounts, because, MEGA has the "Import" button in the download page and you can import files to another accounts
 
did u ever try to download as premium user from these host u mentioned ? you will get almost full speed your ISP offering , try to buy there premium plan then create these useless threads :D
 
wait times and speed limit have been introduced by filehosts so that users prefer premium accounts for downloading their content
their entire content is hosted on high speed servers which dont come for free
paying affiliates is a marketing strategy which is quite cheaper and faster as compared advertising via AD Agencies
it provides quick revenue and ensures longevity of the filehost
after all everyone here is for money even the torrent sites which are run by various people either have ads or donation system to generate revenue which provides for the maintenance cost as well as extra income
torrent sites who boast that they are running the site for the sake of the warez community are liars
no one is going to spend time and effort in providing stuff for free every one has their own motive

Rapidgator: because they store the files for a long time and are somewhat reliable and they don't have a storage limit
netload: an "old" company. Only problem is, that they are a german-company. Has a good PPS
depositfiles: you won't find this so often. But as long as the account isn't busted because of DMCA they are a long time in the job, have no storagelimit and a PPS/PPD system.
Uploaded: high PPD/PPS as well as long in business. Files stay for 180Days without download (one of the highest amount)

so what about share-online, bitshare etc. pp?

as uploader i don't really care about the download-speeds that much.
if they can get 100KB/s it's fine. They can buy a prem. Acc if they want to have it faster.
Just think about this:
The Users are not paying for the content they are loading. so they can wait.

Cometolearn I use to have a real-debrid account so I know about premium download speeds are not that great

Wedge1001 RG 50k download for free users sux and 100k to 150k download speed kinda suck. There are file host where free users get 500k+ download now that is what I am talking about

You know what, all these hosts that you list suck according to my book. And I'm pretty sure I'm among the majority here who would agree with me.

None of these hosts has been around for more than 1 year and they may disappear anytime.

While the big boys which are "shit" for you, they've been around for years, have lots of content and I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon.

Also, I don't use any of those sites that you mentioned, well only depositfiles, but only for a few special files.

I have used them in the past though, but have my reasons to why I had to stop using them. But they still are not "shit" in my book.

you won't get max speeds with such services.

here are my download-speeds from the file-hosters you mentioned:
Depositfiles 5MB/s per file
Uploaded up till 30MB/s per file
Rapidgator up to 10MB/s per file
Netload~ well that are times that my connection was slower. i had there "only" 3MB/s per File

all speeds are good and with premium you can start multiple files.

and i don't really care. 100KB/s is okay. considering you get them for free.
and lots of users have at least one prem.acc somewhere (ul is the most popular atm)
so why should i use shitty hosts, nobody has prem. accounts and nobody knows?

atm there's not THE hoster, that hase high free-user-speeds and do s.th. for the uploads.
i don't nee to earn lots of money - but i need to maintain a prem.acc in Order to have my files not removed so quickly. And lots of uploades still have to pay for server, proxy, etc. pp
on your way-to-go-super-free-user-friendly-hosters it's not possible.
and i don't pay extra money just to give s.o. s.th. for free.

so you try to earn via your own forum.
but lot's of people don't have forums and they just distributes their uploads on blogs/etc. they don't own. So they wouldn't get any income.

i can't find s.th. bad about trying to make money.
what i find bad in my own forum are users that just dumps their links and then never returns to do a reup or s.th. else. Such users are banned asap they post such a thread.

and SeeingMole is right. Not even one hoster is in business longer that a year. That's bad.
i tried once to go with such a hoster and it was busted. So i won't do this again. (That's why i'm normally not in the section of the forum. But thanks to the shoutbox i'm here xD)

your endless filehost rant is annoying. Please invent a new topic. Everybody knows that you banned your tiny, insignificant forum for these hosts. Fine, Congratulations and now please stay quiet.

Texas is obviously not the center of the world and not every filehost has to rotate around your house. There are a lot of regions that get a better performance from these hosts than you (exception uploaded.net)

when i work with a file host if they loyal and trustworthy then i will pay for a premium account all pps and ppd file hosters never go over 100kbs now today why because no body will buy premium accounts and by what your saying that what you want but it isent going to happen no file hoster forces u to use em so stop saying this shit
 
You can buy a premium and download as much as you want since you want to use their service and don't want long waiting times as per your post on the first page.

If you don't like the service then don't use it, I don't see anyone forcing you to use them. :)
 
no body forces me to use any file host i choose to use em its not for the money its not because i wanna be popular i just like uploading and giving people what they want ive been doing it for 7 years now alrite ive been coned out who hasent but like me start over as everybody else

whining about filehost? many wont be using it if it really sucks but since not, your just unfortunate that this host sucks to you :)
