Actually there is one guy on WJ who prefer 4K done first, this can be done by importing 1:1 without re-encoding, without waiting from 240p until 4K process.

Yes but try to think like most users of streaming sites, I guarantee to you that most of them will not use 4K and will be happy enough if you will provide them fast 1080p full HD, another thing is that most of people do not even have the possibility of using that 4K resolution, still most popular TV's are those up to 1080p and when we talking about users of streaming sites a lot of them use their laptops or pc's.

Like I wrote before, first try to handle HD, then think about higher resolution.

LG TVs don't even let you stream 4K from a computer. Only from 3.0 USB hard drives or a dedicated Netflix app. It is simply for those with 4K computer monitors. And if you don't have a 4K monitor you can watch 4K on a 1080p monitor. And it's no secret that 4K youtube videos look better on 1080p monitors than 1080p videos. That's because of the higher bitrate on 4K videos.

Likewise people with non Full HD TVs might prefer 720p (the majority of TV series is 720p).

There is some kind of bug between rapidvideo and playernaut encoding status, just take a look, its the same video file. Video was uploaded using playernaut domain.

Its not an bug, encoding status of "1080p, 4K" is hidden.

The first post says:
- Up to 720p HD Quality, up to 4K on free encoding capacity.

He is working on the encoding issues right now and this will be fixed asap.
Just be patient guys, this Website is just growing at the moment because a lot of started using it.
Why they use Rapidvideo.com? Because it is great and they know it.

Some of you guys said here, nobody has 4K devices. Thats not true, i have a Laptop with 4K Display.

True, it's like HD encoding is disabled,- 5 files uploaded more then 24 hours ago, I only got 240p, 360p till now.

Hm... the SRT have to be in UTF8 format.... did you try that?

You need to press CC some times and the subtitle will show.

Hmm, waiting 2 days, files are still only 240p, 360p, it's because of that you support 4K videos at first place now and all encoding prio is given to those videos? Waiting few days to post links it's bit to long and posting links as 720p HD or 1080p full hd when they are 360p quality is also bad idea because users dono that files are still encoding and they will think that we provide them such a shitty (360p) quality as HD.

Im well aware of this issue... maybe i decrease the upload limit to 150 per day, to solve the encodings issues.

Another solution, is to give to the users who upload very few files per day the highest pirority while the heavy users have low piro, when he mass uploads.

480p - 2200 encodings open
720p - 7700 encodings open

Added new ~25 servers today...

I vote for the second solution as well.I only upload mp4 files so with the option to "[FONT=&quot]Streaming MP4 files directly from source..." for me it can take weeks for the encodings , i don't care.If you put a limit of 150 files (video+subtitles) will be bad for users like me who want's to move some files [/FONT]quickly.Subtitles maybe in the future you can take them out of calculations , they don't generate views or ocuppied space or any other encodings.
