If first of all only x264 files were possible, then the traffic that would be generated would be more than just "a little".
Is simply not profitable

If they encode it fast enough, then it will be okay I think. After 1080p got determinated, they will have more encoding power and encodes will be faster. This little time shouldn't affect the traffic that much
 
Whats going on with view counting. My traffic is the same. Have you change something? Have you stopped counting adblock views?

The decreased views is due to popup ads related or something, it is currently recovering back to like 3-4 days before, it might also related to many DMCA takedowns or something. ;)
 
Remove 720p and add something like 560p so we can all convert fast and watch without buffering and that will help the servers. And work on remote upload from openload. My suggest. :)
And can we re-upload dmca taken down files nonstop without problem?

We had 576p as our invidual standard in the start, but the Anime Group forced us to use 720p. Sorry.

Are the views OK now again today?
 
Erm, i'm waiting whole day for 2 videos to convert in 720p and they are still in progress. I don't really see why it's problem to switch to 576p instead 720p. Those who likes quality will DL the file 1080p from torrent sites anyway. I just suggest it for your own good and speed. The thing is to make it easier for you, and better for us, which is better buffering and right away convert.

Because of recent issues in the conversion due to network problems at OVH, the jobs were resetted, the queue job is stacked up and now its at 166K atm, yesterday it was 180K.

I will disable 360p temporarily to speed things up, because 360p always can converted later.

Something else, i just counted 11 ads to start a video. Every click on the vide player or to move forward, ads too. You cannot even fullscreen without ads. Talking about High Ads/100% Earning Rate option. Don't know if there ia any difference in others. That's DOPE.
 
already 360p image quality is getting very bad. Nobody wants to watch 360p movies. even 480p does not want to watch. it's better if there are not two options at all.

Live with it bro, everyone still wanted PPV, now they get that back, we are still constantly optimizing everything.

Then we can only keep 480p and 720p in future. Personally, between 360p to 480p is just 250 kbit difference in traffic.

If we show only 2 qualities, then only a HD toogle icon is enough for both, not an list like Youtube.

I think HD (576 or 720p) / SD (480p) icon would be the best solution in the player. The same way as youtube, the clip runs and you change the resolution.
 
Is there a way soft subs in videos to appear instead custom add them? For example, if my video has soft subs on it, can your player recognized it? If not, can you make it happen?
That helps alot with the anime upload.
 
Why the rated views are so poor? I have more than 40 views in the video, and it has 1 rated view? How you count the rated views? People do watch it and X the ads. Nothing counts.
