They overbought just like Glenn did and that's why LeaseWeb shut down Glenns servers if everyone recalls that mysterious downtime when that company changed hands. Sadly enough these guys feed people bullshit and some of the less fortunate believe it.
 
Scamming I don't think so, not veering of a path they knew they were going down yes they are guilty of that no shame in trying and failing many of business men & woman have done this, But you certainly should not keep your clients of this scale in the dark and then blatantly lie to them. This is a public forum not a farm stop feeding people shit!

While yes, a 5-6Gbit DDoS directed at a single server wouldn't be too bad, the Cisco 6500 series router, which is fairly vulnerable to DDoS. (Again, not saying this is/was the cause - but the timing was coincidental).

Tell us one thing clearly, can we get the servers back ? Or will you refund our money? Or you'll give us nothing? Ask the boss and tell here.
We already played enough DDos DDos game in last 30 hours or so.
 
I got mail from LeaseWeb:

We simply can provide you new servers and you still have chance to get your data from the current servers you use. However, there is still a legal discussion between LeaseWeb and Rapidspeeds, we therefore can not guarantee that you can get back your old data at the moment.

Could you please let us know for servers configuration you use ? So, we can check what could be suitable for you.

I talked to leaseweb and they are ready to get me my data back on new servers i am ordering with them right now.They will put the same hard disk on the new servers .

I don't understand people that have important files and services on their servers and neglect keeping regular backups. It's so ignorant and stupid that it's my opinion you lot shouldn't even be in this business in the first place. Who doesn't run backups? Seriously...
 
I emailed them back. I just want that data. Even if I will have to buy them.

So 1) get data 2) find different host and run away from RS 3) live happily ever after :D

I do have backup. But almost 3 months old. Since we moved to RS, there was one problem after another. rDNS, DDOS, security, IP. Ugh. :(

So did you already purchased a server from them? What info did you send to be able to retrieve your old hard drive?
