Offshore Shared Hosting for warez linking

Hi guys,

what do you recommand for a shared offshore hosting allowing warez linking.

I want a reliable and fast hoster.

Unlimited domains, unlimited databases, at least 100TB traffic.

Hello,
How much disk space are you looking for? What is your budget?
Also, would you really need 100 TB of bandwidth?
 
For the diskspace not much, maybe like 20GB.

About the bandwidth, I don't really know, it'll host a warez linking website, so if all goes well I expect a good amount of visitors per day.
 
Apprently it'd be better if I choose a VPS instead of a shared hosting.

How much visitors a day can handle a shared hosting ? My website is a warez linking website on Wordpress.

Can you recommend a great VPS hosting provider ? And please don't just post the url...

I'm also not very good at setting up a VPS. What do I need exactly to run a website on a VPS ? Cpanel ?

How many visitors can you handle on a VPS depends on your scripts, how many resources you get, how is your script optimized and how is your VPS optimized. VPS would definitely be much better choice than shared hosting.

If you run WordPress I would highly recommend you installing and enabling W3 Total Cache plugin. It will help you to reduce your resource usage and handle more traffic / visitors.

You can run a website without any control panel, but if you aren't really familiar with Linux you would need a control panel. cPanel is most known commercial control panel(around $15/m extra). You could also run Kloxo which is a free alternative to cPanel. Kloxo would do the job for your personal use, no need paying extra for cPanel license.

Then if choose a VPS, do I only need to install Kloxo and I'm good to go ? Or do i need to install other things ?

Also I need PDO activated on my server, as you certainly saw Krun!x haha I had to ask for a refund at knowsrv because you can't activate PDO on your shared hosting...

That's little complicated and tricky to be honest. Your best bet is getting a VPS from a hosting company that knows what they do as securing something takes years and years of experience.

EDIT: Sorry about PDO :( VPS is a separate and dedicated environment so you can customize it as per your needs. On shared hosting we have to think whats the best for all clients on the server as they all share the same setup / configuration.

When your buying a VPS would suggest to run the following script:

The auto installer also includes the csf + lfd firewall to manage your servers security, though on the other hand it might be a little harder to configure but most hosts will help you when it comes to the configuration part.

And what if I use the same VPS for hosting my website AND as a seedbox ? Will one those component get slow down by the other ?

Hi,

That means we manage a VPS for you, fix issues related to your VPS, install custom requirements, update and secure your VPS, etc.

We basically do everything you require on the VPS besides touching 3rd party scripts, such as PHP code etc.
