Thanks guys, I'll add them when I get back home in an hour or 2.
Edit:
Added them, do note that for now I won't add any other mirrors to the 1st post untill 0.0.3 drops because I think there's enough choice there atm . Thanks again to all who are supporting the project. Really appreciate the effort!
holy crap, I achieved 2mb/sec on SplitIce's mirror. Thats the speed I download from RS. Thanks man!
I'll install with vmware, but let me know when a more stable version is ready. I can help advertise it a lot. I find these types of projects are the ones that really get somewhere, instead of having a bored coder do it because he is paid to :D.
Cool. Just for the information, 0.0.2 is pretty stable. In the sence that it won't crash on you because of some odd bug/issue. That's mainly thanks to the stability of openSUSE. The "Know issues" are more configuration issues then something related to instability .
For later version just keep an eye on the 1st post. Small note though that I need people to test and feedback on the ALPHA as well because the more people do the better the stable release will be. Beta testing is not a crime .
and I use my surround sound on it, through the digital optical slot and I have got the disc to install the Realtek HD Drivers onto Windows, but I can't get it working at all with Linux. Any help would be appreciated mate, cheers
Wine is included on the disk, but that won't work for actual hardware drivers. Go to Computer > Yast > Sound and tell me if you see any device listed there. If possible screenshot it .
I burned/mounted the iso onto a dvd.
opened it and got.. Boot (Folder) Config.isoclient and LiveW-read-only.. what do i do? Sorry but never installed a OS before.
