The GO Unlimited service, which may be known by the name of many of you, is one of the oldest services specialized in the field of video hosting. Go made the right move which is for me is the right thing to do.
Specially others who earn few and they have thousands of videos stored on the server and wants to get hold of the "thousands of dollars according to their video uploads?" that's kinda unfair right?


The 1000 videos = $1000 max ( No objections and totally agree with this)
Compensation = will be handed trough payouts (Another approve from me this is really good)

Not that I ask for money from you, but the work I do every day and I have been doing it for over a month
I do not earn much a month, Even so, I still need to pay daily activities

The problem is not compensation.
The problem is that the initial message was not clear and resulted in interpretation error.
I would have preferred not to announce compensation and it was all functional and already have everything up and running today.
 
EDIT - This part of the message was missing lol: I still can't believe the behavior of some people. They're earning money, using a free video host, without max storage, and when bad things happens, they complain. Guys, you can create your own video host you know? You can risk your ass with all those copyrighted videos, and pay thousands of dollars to have your own host :D!

Stop crying about deleted files, this happen, and will happen again in every host that you use, they will have problems, and some of them will run with your money. At least GO is trying to fix everything and compensate their users.

I have started years ago, and this was an every year problem, played, streamin, videomega, openload, etc. Stop hating and complaining about your "hard work", because upload(even some complainig when they were just cloning files lol) files sitting in your computer, isn't hard work, and also, why the hell some people is complaining about bills, if you have bills to pay, just get a real job, pay your bills, and do this as an extra income, I can't believe some people put their lifes into a bussiness that can dissapear in a blink.

I don't know how the admin manages to keep doing a good job while you are all complaining, well, as he said, there are more supporters than haters, and that say something about the job that he have done :)

This is the main problem. Another problem is that you can't express your opinion of the service because your account will be blocked. GU can lose your data but if you comment it you are "ungrateful people".

Thank your for your kind words and trust. If someone have an urgent bill we have always been doing exceptions for those, as we can process their payments faster if they send us a copy of the concerned bill.

In my understanding on your previous message.
You want to get payed 44 thousand dollars because you have 44 thousand videos.
Or you feel bad because you wont get paid 44 thousand dollars.

Well the thing is, Is their something to rant about? Do you guys understand, that they are doing this because they care for us. They can't just simply close and run away if they want to. But they are not like that, they are still here doing everything they can to help us recover on what we lost. We are not only one who are sleepless, tired, or stressed because on what happened. On those first week they hardly have enough rest. They are up for how many days. Can't you imagine how hard it is? Selfish people tend only be good to themselves. You guys can't even appreciate the sacrifices they have made for us.

It will be that the translator does not make clear messages.

So may I ask you: Do you have the right to talk in the behalf of the affected users? Or it's just that you want to share something and don't know what to say so you have written this article?

Also, it's funny that you said it's misleading, because legally this means I have said something and then changed my words, but I dare you to bring one, only one evidence that proofs any misleading behavior from my side. Also you said it's not fair, but also said paying users their compensation in one payment is fair, and if they changed the embed code in their website I can take that compensation from them, but may I ask you what you will do if you're the admin here and you already paid the user his compensation and then he changed the code? You can do nothing.

Nothing from your words was fair, regardless that you're not even one of the affected users. You want to get paid thousands of money in one payment, which is something even if this problem didn't happen you will never get it, but you want it now.

Users are getting double payouts which is beyond their usual income even before this problem, so no one lost anything but actually getting more and in a way that keeps both parts safe from misleading and scammers.

Users who used to earn $2 daily for example, are currently earning $1.5 (most of them because they covered 70% of their files so far), which means instead of $60 monthly they're earning $45 but with double payments they will get $90 which means more than their usual $60. So that's not fair?

Actually yes, the current method isn't fair because we're paying them more than they used to get. We should only pay them the gab they miss from their income, so the user who used to earn $2 and currently make $1.5 gets only $0.5 as a compensation daily. Shall we do that to be 100% fair?

my goal was the same GU lose data but we lose something more, i use GU service as only one and main on my site and when this matter i start also loosing my visitors, this was very uncofortable and stressfull. for few days and night i reupload all files
i post forum message with my dubts that 1$ for each video probably won't achievable then my account was suspended he also write in PM that

"I had the ability to close everything and move on."

None of the provided informations are considered as proof. You’re just putting red lines under our sentence, so what is the proof exactly? And also do you consider yourself as active partner while your views before 7 FEB were less than 10 daily?

Godamn it people. This stuff happens all the time. If you want your videos to be safe forever and there is no trouble with them, upload them to Youtube.

The second day I said in WJ the maximum is $1,000 to avoid scammers like you. Your compensation was supposed to be $1,300, so can you tell me would you be able to make $1,300 within a year? The answer is NO, so the compensation is beyond your usual income but the point of the compensation is to reduce the frustration level of our partners, otherwise if we want to be 100% fair we would cover the gap they have only and cover their loss and that’s all, and that would make your compensation and other partners much less. Do the math and refute what I have said.
