Hope you're doing very well.

I am glad to have one of the most active members in WJ as a partner with us.

However, there is no problems at all but there is a misunderstanding. Everything that supposed to be counted is beinh counted but for the downloads the counting system is different than views.

Please feel free to share your username with me through PM so I can provide you with additional details.

^^ Why don't you answer this question here in public? It has been asked several times before. To me it looks like downloads are counting like they should but there are no rewards shown for them at all. Please clarify this issue for all users. There must be some kind of (misunderstanding) issue or something wrong on your side. At least it's very confusing. Thanks.

Thank you for your kind request for an explanation about this case.

First of all, I would like to apologize for every user who mis-understood this situation.

The problem is that downloads are counted in different way than views. Views aren't visible in the user end stats unless it's paid, while for downloads they're visible in the user end stats either if they're paid or not.

That's why I need each user username to check his downloads and give him the exact reason because for each account there may be a different case.

Additionally, if the user is not comfortable with this situation we can disable downloads of his files so people can only watch his videos instead.

Hope I provided enough informations.

But wouldn't it be better to display only paid downloads? It would be much clearer to each and avoid such questions. This makes everything very confusing and can make your users unaware suspicious.

If we decided to hide unpaid downloads others would be confused as well. Someome will report dowloads shaving if he didn't see any downloads in his stats so it's really confusing even in our part deciding what to hide and what to show because such decisions would cause similar situations.
The current counting logic is the one less confusing at least. We can explain when there is downloads without money but we can't explain when there is downloads in first place. Some people won't believe the explanation when there is no downloads.

Thanks for the answer. I would have been interested in when or why downloads "count" or not. While testing it, I used a fresh browser without any addons and new IP. Go through the download process, start and finish the download. So IMHO that download should be counted and rewarded like a normal view? Looking at the stats, the download is shown but not rewarded. In other words, in gereral what needs to be the case for legitimate downloads on GoUnlimited?

This is the exact reason why I need each member username to check the download log. There could be a lot of reasons and I don't want to assume anything without checking.

aaaahh I should have move here years ago dang! Well It's not too late <3
and I hope the host will stay up for how many years to come (and not to kill / remove the affiliate which is really suck cross fingers)

Thank you so much for such warm words my friend. Such comment is highly appreciated, really.

And about the affiliate program, personally; I believe that the biggest mistake that any host can made is closing the affiliate program because NO ONE WOULD BE INTERESTED TO WORK FOR FREE.

This industry is dedicated and will remain for hard workers who works for money and not for free, and I am glad that we're the oldest host with affiliate program in this industry supporting thousands of hard workers.
