@ worldnxt: No we cannot do that.

@ Cal: I believe it is some html nonsense that we just need to remove. Design flaw.

@ xTreme: You're right. Submitted this bug report.

Not going to happen.

Loading the name is like putting a pink elephant in the room. We tried loading the name. You guys got a slow manager, you guys cried about not being able to wait a few minutes (up to 5 sometimes). Hotfile does the same, and I'm pretty sure others will do the same if you start coping with terabytes of data per user.

The alternatives are:
-We put a cap to how much you guys can have in your account. 50GB sounds good to you? (just like RS)
-We put a cap on remote upload: 5GB sounds good to you? (just like HF)
-We make upload speed unbearably slow, 400KB/sec, sounds good to you? (just like MU)

...OR we just list your files by upload date and not by name?

Now the choice is easy I think. Live with it. Any host this size would follow some simple rules in not overloading their databases.

Again...Wishful thinking is always so much easier :)

Hi Ricky, please set default sort by NAME, now it default sort by DL

The default for me is showing the upload date (newest first) which is exactly what I want as the newest uploaded files are the ones I'll be using.

If you want it sorted by name just click the "Name" column after the page loads. :P

i want the Option of Bitshare is having in the filemanager... I mean when we click the Certain link (Box).

Like part 1 , part 2 , part 3, all should be in order. but fileserve has default option like top to bottom. so we cant arrange the Files immediately in the filemanager....

Please reply me..

It will be the way it is right now. If you can't handle the default as being Date first/time uploaded first, please click Name and wait your mandatory 5 minutes :)

I love the new default setting for the Date first. I think it is way better than names. I always want to see the latest files upload first where before i have to click on the date every time a new file was uploaded.

Now that the file manager is speedier, any chance of putting the [live] download counter back online?

I really miss that function! Right now, it seems to take longer than 72 hours to update once.

I gotta agree the file manager is quite faster, hats off to that.

But there is a little problem that i encountered.
Files are not sorted by name anymore.

Or is it by design ?
