@ ZeroAT & all other curious what new file manager does:

-Rename function is now fixed.
-Should be quicker to load.
-Files are listed from newest (to oldest) as "default"

@ all: Hints for getting your files listed quicker when you enter "My Files" - Limit it to 15 files per page and it will be super fast. If you list 500 it will be slower than if you listed 15. Spread the word

I thought with this new file manager I wont be redirected to root folder again after moving or copying files. But I'm still redirected.

You're not. Ctrl + F5 and try again to rename

Yes, I am. I did not rename files. I copied them.

@ techdaemon: Ah...Yes ok. Guess we can change that. The biggest complaints was going back to root on rename! Hence, why this was first and foremost the feature we wanted to give people.

@ Aussie-Dog: I explained the mod for upload is getting built right now.

The new file-manager is set to sort files by upload date by default? When I press sort by name, it loading very slow.

That's because it needs to load all the names for you
It takes the time it takes. As said. Follow 15 files per page and you shouldn't have much issue.
