For premiums downloading. If they've already downloaded a file from your account, you will only be credited for 1 download even if they get 2938 more on the same day.

Remote from HF is still bugged it seems. We have techs who will look at it (hopefully later) and try to get a fix around for it.

I'm seeing a ton of remotes from MU and RS coming in perfectly.

Also...People with drop in earnings. Possibly because users with automated software are now fucked and has to stay at the computer to type in captcha, because they are either too lazy to upload and make money or just too tight with the fundings.

We are counting every single download. How do I know - Well the guys we check who's been with us for some time show consistency. Don't see their drops :)

@ Mars: You using IE or FF? or both?

@ Gerner2010: It is a random file? Or possibly same server it fails on? It doesn't tell you when it fails except when you check your manager that there are files missing?
 
Ah didnt see the FF bit. And if you try with IE...? Can you do a little tester on this from now? I know you hate IE, but keep a window open for us just for now ;)

Yes its random files.
In the middle of the uploads it tells me the upload is done and it just sits there stuck at some %, doing nothing.

I have no idea what server the files are on.
I dont think they come through at all.

I always restart my uploads right away.

Just tried it again 1 hour ago. :-(
 
Why all these people have problems??i have not faced a single problem from the day one i started using FS,nor with remote or web upload or ftp..and trust me i upload 18/24hx365d...except the problem with the stuck earnings,everything is running smoothly and i have patience about the downloads,cause many people prefer HF than FS for the time being..
 
Why you guys started to screw yourself now?
What is the reason behind the one download per premium user mean?
You are doing nothing but ruining your reputation... :(
 
@ EL-Warez: Web works fine with IE. FTP works fine too. Remote upload...HF bans IPs, HF does this, HF does that - We're still looking into the remote for HF.

Rules & Conditions:
1. We count every successfully completed download. For anonymous and free users that download from Fileserve, we count one unique file per each unique IP counted every 24 hours. This means, that an anonymous or a free user on the same IP, but downloading two different files will count for two qualified downloads.
For premium users that download from FileServe, we count one file per each unique IP counted every 24 hours. This means, that a premium user on the same IP, but downloading two different files will count for one qualified downloads.


Last line can be re-written to:

Yeah the move is exactly the one you just mentioned about 20 million downloads = 1 point :|
This sucks dude...better remove this shit rule :(
 
Why? So people can sign up a premium and start downloading 1TB of data and then claim to get $$$? You sure about us staying in business in the next few days?

I can tell you that less that ~1% of all downloads are performed by Premiums, so how does this affect your earnings?

Any host has this rule implemented. We just wrote it clearer.

It usually happends with the first upload.
If I do single web-uploads or multiple web-uploads.
I will check next time if the file actually makes it.

Its not a new FS rule.
I has been like that forever.

Sharingmatrix has the same rule.

Just because you dont have any problems, doesnt mean that other people cant have them.

And for others, Ricky mentioned it before about the counting system for premium users. I saw it and didn't give a crap, I am earning almost 100 bucks a day with FS, other filehosts can NEVER give me this kind of money.
 
No, not anyone does that. If some one does, better ban that guy!
Most of my uploads are 720p and 1080p in 200MB links, which are downloaded my premium users; today, since you applied this rule, my earnings have dropped significantly! :x
Why don't you just remove this?

9 out of 10 of those files will fail in IE - at some point - @10% or 50% or 93% etc.
So yeah Gerner.part1.rar will probably fail.

Also would have done it, if it was the only file in the queue.

And like I told you about 4 weeks ago, my FTP uploads also fails.
No response from server when the file has been 100% uploaded.

Maybe its a Europe -> US thing.

What rule are you talking about?
The rules for counting free or premium users has not changed.

Only thing that has changed in the past few days is re-introduction of Captchas.
 
@ rey2k5: I'm scratching my head trying to look for the issue - I tried it, worked here. We actually fixed the file. Please try again.

Your users must be free users since your earnings dropped. Free with automated software - Automated software for free users is not permitted. There's a reason for why free users are free and premium users pay. Just like if someone paid for a lambo vs. someone stealing a bike. Why should the guy who stole the bike get the lambo too? (bad analogy, but should be imagery enough)

@ Gerner2010: 9/10 will fail..wtf hmm..I'm baffled. This happened recently or always been like that? What router are you behind? We know that linksys and (forgot the other brand) fails on us. They need special setup.
