Submitted this to our to-do list.

I can't promise it will be investigated within the next 2 weeks, because our techs have their hands full. We got a lot of things we want to do/sort, but please wait patiently.

I would recommend though to go a little bit beyond the 201 MB mark. I guess they are a bit "blurry" at the moment.

Best regards,

Ricky

Thanks Ricky. I've started making the files a little bigger once I noticed the problem. There's definetely a issue with calculations for files in the 201-450MB. I recently started uploading 201+MB files so I've been able to watch the numbers closely. I just did the calculations for my 201+ size files from the download numbers on the file manager page. I compared them with the numbers on the statistics page and it's coming up short by about 800.
I know the statistics doesn't update every second but it can't be behind by 800 downloads.

@ TheCoon: We did add some front-end servers for the website load already a while back. It shouldn't be too bad loading - I'm loading it just fine from across the waters (not EU) even when I clear my cache. I'll get some of the techs to ping it from our other servers to see if it is really slow.

For webupload - We are still fixing. We know this is equally as important :)

@ axxo786: Awesome :D Start dragging over all your files from HF!! :)

@ NickG: File Manager page counts EVERYTHING. See at the bottom: "*This is the count for total non-unique downloads." - It means if Joe tried to retry the file 10x because it failed or because he just wanted to test it out, it counted 10x. The real statistics of full completion if displayed on the stats page.

Weird. It literally takes over 30 seconds to load, just tried it again (it's now loading for about 50 seconds). Browsing from Europe. It connects really fast though so I guess the ping is low, it just hangs on "Waiting for Fileserve" for about 30-60 seconds.. then loads the page. Overload much haha. Perhaps that's also 1 of the reasons for my insane decrease in downloads? :)

Pinging fileserve.com [209.222.7.232] with 32 bytes of data:

Amsterdam, Netherlands. It must be some web server overload, as it pings fine but once it's connected I get a white page for 30-50 seconds, then the page loads. I don't have this issue on any other website..

Oh OK I get it now. Thanks for the info. I'm still pretty sure there's an issue with file sizes 201-450MB accuracy since I noticed it right away when my downloads were coming up short.

@ The Coon: Weird. 231ms and I'm loading the page just fine. As said, we'll look into it.

@ NickG: The page loading is indifferent from the download of a file - 2 different type of servers.

Yes, I know they're two different servers but people have to go through the site server first to get to server with the files. Some people are very impatient and if the page doesn't load quick enough they leave and don't even try again.

@ cuza: There isn't any advertisement on our landing pages.

What do you mean it shows all the files uploaded? Our FTP structure is different from HF's. They interlink with their storage, meaning you upload directly to the storage. We do it separately.

Too many accounts to handle. We will pay out in Epassporte, Webmoney & Paypal only. All those given are eligible for whatever country one doesn't accept. It will stay this way, so please get yourself either one of those.

If we start adding Moneybookers, we'll be asked to add Liberty Reserve, then Alertpay, then Payoneer then X (where X is another processor) - Too many.

Thanks :)
