Hello,

This is not official thread, we came with this thread in order to transition into new platform correctly, feel free to report any bugs or share your thoughts and suggestions about our new system in this thread.

My old account 7 months old are banned i have never used him upload 2 files become ban, discuss per PN become answer "We're not free storage service where you can keep your files as a backup" and "Well u can make new account i dont mind, our system flagged your account as it was 7 months old."

Make new account, upload some more files, after 4 hrs same new game "Your account was banned by administrator"

Congrats...

I started my site about anime from november, maybe as we are new project they think we are using their services as a free backup storage

I already replied to this before, and nothing has changed. Repeatedly asking the same question won’t change the answer.

Thanks for the heads up. We’re checking the search now looks like something got broken when the folder search was added and it slipped past our devs.

Your account was banned for a straightforward reason: we don’t allow storage abuse.

Uploading files without generating traffic isn’t acceptable, and saying it’s a new project isn’t enough. We don’t provide services to new sites with no traffic, nor to users who consume storage without bringing traffic.Recently, we banned over 6,500 users for this exact issue and reclaimed about 1.8 PB of storage. We prefer to use that capacity for users who respect the service and actively generate traffic while using storage.

did you state that anywhere in the tos that it need minimum traffic for fair use? (in a non-ambiguous way legal catch-all option) https://byse.sx/tos (archive https://web.archive.org/web/20260108052640/https://byse.sx/tos ) because i sure didn't see that when registered filemoon nor is there any prior warning

Hello Byse, I am having a hard time to upload the my subtitle it keeps refreshing when I drag the subtitle even if I search the specific video and when I drag the subtitle to it. It refresh again can you help me with that see if its the same on your end, as well as I want to use custom domain is there a guide installing one?

You should put a disclaimer on your website, in large print, stating: 'If you don't have traffic, don't use our service.' That way, you’d prevent people with new projects like mine from wasting their time.

Terms of Services states it clearly, but you seem to refuse to acknowledge it.

I'm sorry, but that's the stupidest thing I've ever read. Every host manages to delete inactive files after 15/30 days if they haven't already been deleted due to abuse. And how are you supposed to generate traffic if you get banned immediately just for uploading a few files?

That's not logical. Don't blame users for your mismanagement of storage. It's already difficult enough to earn anything from the traffic generated as an uploader with 50-70% adblock rates.

I understand it's not a charity, but banning an account simply for lacking traffic is unheard of. Even if it's buried in the Terms of Service, it’s a very poor user experience for anyone starting a new project. A simple warning or a heads-up would have been much more professional than a ban.

Normal steps for project development are building the project first then filling it with content not opposite where you store files for 7 months and begin working on a project. So hiding behind "new project" doesn't work as such projects are to be done within week max two.

If you wish to encode your files quicker simply purchase premium we have several houndred thousand of users and we already feed up with your constant complains about encoding speed, specially when you make houndreds of dollars per week with us yet you still can't aford 30$ on a premium account and have instant encoding.
