the node where my vps is located had a hard disk failure.. i am new to this provider (i think 7 days) and boooom all my files/db is gone

im so unlucky.. ive been reinstalling my other vps thats why i dont have a backup.. my bad, i had put my whole trust to this company.. so unreliable
 
The host says they use Raid10 and have Frequent Backups they should have a backup as advertised.


They sent me VPS details for a blank VPS
 
I do not think it was a problem of hard disk, but simply the staff of this site is fairly beginner to manage servers and puff all the work lost because of them! Thanks BeamNOOBServers...

Unfortunately, we had a hard drive issue on the host node which led to data loss. The new VPS details were sent to you. Due to the inconvenience, we are setting up frequent backup system to overcome such damage in future. Also, we are providing compensation and free lifetime upgrade to the affected clients. that's what they've replied to my ticket about my VPS down, now it's two days so i'm obviously one of those who has lost they're data, they also sent me a new VPS details but no fucking explanations to what's going on or anything, stupid ignorant support.

Ahahha i don't would another VPS, i would my money back from this service, in tos or another parts i've seen Frequently Backup but in fact backup never done... Refund me and good luck for this badly service!

what about the damage you've cost? i've lost a month working on a blog with a rate of 30 post a day and an image host site with more than 7 Gb of shared pics i'll have to re--upload and post again, you can keep ur sorry for ur self, i want my time and efforts back
 
I knew I should of moved servers when I had the chance... My business was hosted on this server and now its gone.

I have had issue after issue with this company and yet I didn't go with my gut feeling that this company at some point would shaft me and its clients. I am usually a professional and keep profanities to myself but you Sahil, are a fucking cunt. You assured me all files would be fine, and according to this thread everyone has lost their data.

My reputation is now in tatters and you know what, I fucking hope yours is too.

You my friend are an idiot, a clown with no server management skills what so ever.

To anyone reading this thread, do not even bother listening to his bullshit, he will fob you off. This hosting service is a joke... end of story... full stop... just work twice as hard to get your work back and use a different company...

It is the responsibility of the client to have a recent backup as stated in our ToS. We were using RAID 10 on the server but due to disk failures and kernel panic, we cannot recover it. As this was a hardware failure, we cannot prevent it. Most of the clients on the host node have agreed for compensation and upgrade, we have provided them too. If you didn't get it, please open a ticket.
EDIT: The situation can happen to anyone, they cannot prevent it.
However, to prevent this situation in future, we are enabling frequent data backups to an offsite server.

We did send a mass e-mail to everyone on node Pearl regarding the issue. Everyone got their new VPS and if you didn't, please open a ticket. WJunction is not our support thread and posting here wouldn't make any sense at all. Just open a ticket after you stop shouting on WJunction, we will look into it.

You NEVER opened a support ticket and are just using forums to get in touch with us. You opened a dispute via PayPal, do you still ask us to keep your account online with the disputes open?
Why do you just use Skype or WJ when we have a dedicated support ticket system?

I not reuquest support here! I talk for give my personal opinion for this service. This sh*t company have lost all data on vps and in tos they wrote "Frequently backup" but is not the true! my personal debate is in ticket system and i attend reponse over 6-7 hour... but i want to help other user to not have my issue with this people. And shutup reponse me with the same message.
 
Sahil, I like how you got the admins here to delete my posts? How much did that cost? I am sorry but is honest feedback a bad thing to leave? Or does this forum support bad services?
