In the main post, the results are on a windows 7 or windows server 2008 VPS, and the user who posted the screens was on a windows 2003 server.

From my experience, windows server 2008 performs much much better especially in gigabit connections, so that might be the reason.

no, that's win 2003 too. actually I have more experiences with win 2003 and also its easier for me to config it for VPN user (my main usage of vps )

it depends on target server and also included some result on first post (from a 512 plan). But to be honest I did'n not get that amazing speed for yawn script running on wamp. Maybe I could not config it for better speed.
