Yes, if you're just starting make sure you don't train too much. 3 times per week should do it, and make sure you rest.

Hehe, well you probably won't get that big but you could get pretty big, genetics play big part.

I also do personal online training (pretty cheap tbh), analyzing customer and working with him on daily base, 7 days per week with nutrition and training guideline ;)

Just started working with a WJ member :)

Hmm, i do exercise, and the next day i cant due to pain in muscles. Why is that so?

What is the remedy to muscular pain?

Thanks

It is important that you eat after a workout to recover. If you do not eat, I'm reasonably sure you can get tired, sore muscles (pain), etc.

Remember to eat!

I know even some who do not "dare" to eat after a workout because they think it will destroy the session. They have misunderstood the whole stuff, and they end up tired, etc.

The muscles break down when you exercise. They are built up again (slightly larger) when you eat protein and when you sleep.

Do not misunderstand the concept. Then you end up in a trap.

Honestly, this is a great thread Dr.Smith :P

Actually I learned a lot of useful tips/info through reading some of your answers.

Suggestion: It would be great if you list the common Q&A in your first post to make it easier for new readers - and to avoid duplicate questions. A link to your reply would be enough IMO.

Thank you.

I surely would want to join, but lets see and wait, as i have exams coming up.
I will be able to give time when i am more free.

Whats the price btw? :)

Also great bodybuidiers like arnold schwarzenegger, ronnie coleman , how do they do it? They take steriods?? Is it necessary to take steriods?

I'v heard they are bad for health in the long run..

Thanks

Right after workout I recommend nice protein shake and then when you get home, prepare nice meal to speed up recovery process because you can't rely on protein shakes alone.

Haha Dr. Smith, that sounds pretty cool actually :)) (damn If I could change my username)

Q&A, that's excellent suggestion to be honest. If someone ask same question I usually link to my answer but O&A would be great addition too, thanks for suggestion. +rep

There is no question that all professional bodybuilders use them, you would be surprised to see how many just normal people who simply work out take them.

I'm on my cycle as we speak, I don't recommend them but if you're smart and healthy, they are somewhat safe to use and you can avoid most side effects.

As for personal training, while most would charge some crazy amounts for 60 min consulting, my price is $50 USD per week (no price per hour what so ever). And I really do focus on each and every of my clients, because everyone has different needs, different training and diet regiments and so on.

I will train you 7 days a week, you will get all information you will ever need from nutrition to training, motivation, pretty much everything to get you all boosted :)

And I do discounts for my fellow WJ members if you order 2+ weeks.

Stay away from steroids!

They exercise a lot, eats a lot and sleep a lot.

I see, sleeping is a big part in body building? :))

No, I do not think so, but I have put on 15 kilos since I started training. I still have high body fat percentage, I think. I have never checked the exact numbers.

Thats a great start, i hope you gain more tight muscles :).

I have small biceps, i need to seriously workout.

Staying on computer all the times, i think it shrinks my muscles!

Remember to train your biceps properly. Personally, I trained wrong a period when I was new to this game.

I'm doing right now. I get results faster than I actually thought was possible. Remember to train properly.

Do not work with too heavy weights, if they destroy the exercise. If it means that you do the exercise wrong.

Use YouTube to see how to do an exercise correctly. You will also know yourself really.
