We just launched Premium, the effects are not so bad and the limits is not too harsh, it actually help us a lot to protect our Host from unauthorized apps and tools.

It adjust according to our server load... if our servers is overloaded, 3 hits per hour, if its during off-peak like in the morning, 10 hits per hour.

With these limits noone needs one. Who watches more than 3 or even 10 videos an HOUR, even a DAY? You might be able to get rid of a little automated mass downloading but there are ways to get a new IP, delete cookies etc.
So it seems that the new plan is good for viewers but won't generate any income neither for you nor generate sales for the uploaders of your files.
Why do you want to make the search (Bitporno?) make private? This is how people find the stuff on your site and is an incentive to buy premium for watching. I don't think anyone will buy premium just to search the sites.
Maybe I'm just too stupid to understand the new system.

I mean the RapidVideo search engine, just like BitPorno search, but in RapidVideo, this is only accessable for RV Premium users. Thats an big plus why Premium. We can see ourselves as "Usenet for Videos"
Most users watches only 1-2 streams per hour, so the limit almost never hits, if the user are decent.
We received some complains from users, because they use automated scripts to extract video urls and do whatever with the tool etc.
Every friday, there will be new premium code vouchers.

That public video is viewable, if the user had set the video to public only. And the public URLs are seperated from private URLs.
There will/are a option to select private, non-listed or public.
We need to finance ourselves from another sources if the popup ads are not working for us, we would also need a certain number of paying premium users monthly to reach to the status without depend on the ad networks.
Thanks for the explanation. A public search for premium users sounds good as long as the uploaders have the option to decide if they want their files in that public index or not. Indeed a good premium feature then.

To increase sales, its only possible to enforce limits and list big additional feature such as our Video search. Right now, its super low sales after we decreased the limits to complains like you

Currently I can watch as much as I want on RV and BP. KODI and downloaders work fine too, I just checked it out.
I don't get any offers to buy premium either. So i fear there will be no sales and uploaders will get sick of it, leave and delete their stuff from Rapidvideo. Somehow reminds me of the end of Rapidshare... Hope there will be a solution soon.
actually there is small banner in the embed "go premium", but the popup window were effective yesterday. I have other solutions, applying now and testing PPS.
Indeed I found one of these banners now by using an embed link. :-) Well, without limits I would just click it away just like all other ads. But I see you're working on it.
Wish you had tested and implemented all this before the sudden closing of the old PPV program. I read that big uploaders switched already and move on. I have to agree that this is a big change which should have been tested thoroughly before going live and not be implemented little by little in a production environment. Well, so what, good luck!

Its actually no problem for us to do the first steps for us and do the things before its too late, you will know soon enough if other hosts do something because the income of the ads will be super low from summer, we are now in hurry after learning that the Google Chrome in next update in July 2019 will block all popups.
Yes, but it won't solve the situation in general. If all users use VPN, then they are behind the VPNs sharing with other VPN users using the same server IPs. Ad networks doesn't pay for VPN traffic.
We closed our PPV rewards program, mate.
I am now trying another apporach, for now, no stream limits, but i will do different approach. It means no limit per hour, but the sticky premium small-window will annoy some users.
