Luches... Your ignoring the part where we were the ones who got attacked on September, 2001. The fact that we don't have mass graveyards with our people buried in the deserts, and the secret Gulag who goes around and makes 500,000 people disappear. You forget the part where Vietnam was an invasion of North to South to re-unite the nation and return it to communism. Millions of lives were lost. Agent Orange was used to clear out the grass camo zones. Americans, Canadians, Australians and Koreans were all effected by the use of Agent Orange.
You fail to see the part where we don't come from a place that oppresses it's own people. We allow our women to practice whatever they want, and wear pretty much whatever they want. Our presence in these other countries infuriates religious fanatics and those who are envious and secretly jealous of the United States backing Israel. Nations and groups that are committing genocide, wars and oppression scream "White Devil" when we start to sniff in there direction.
There is nothing more that secretly burns within people than the fact that the United States of America is the sole reason that Israel exists (as we brought them statehood) to this day. People get mad and angry when they see a country that that backs Israel and is the world's #1 Super Power, with the World Currency and the ability to say this is what were going to do, and this is how were going to do it.

Were not the nation that buries your people in the sand, it's the leaders and the corruption and the control of other nations and leaders that does this.

You can bring up anything you want, the fact is, that those of you who don't understand, don't understand for a reason. I don't hold it against you, but you can't see the corruption that has taken place before your eyes, in your own backyards. It's much easier to blame the Yankees for everything, than to admit you were lead astray your whole life and everything you've been taught is wrong. The fact that the leaders of these countries suck up every penny for themselves and their families, that there is absolute zero distribution of wealth is not the United States fault. The fact that there is internet restrictions, and lack of work and investing is not the United States fault. The fact that countries remain in shambles after decades of war, is not the United States fault. It is the people that reside in those countries, that stare at the debris day after day, that allow one ruler to be a king over their destiny and province for a lifetime, only to pass it down to his son. That allow the women of a nation to be uneducated and demeaned.
We are not the oppressor, we are freedom fighters. We provide you with technology, with aid, with food, with funding, with intelligence, with a piece of the global pie. We fight your wars, we end your sadness if we can. We are the ones who oppose your rulers and try to put better ones in place. We are the ones who will train your nation to defend itself and lend you our own guns to protect yourself. Sometimes things go wrong and those you fund turn against you, it's the way of life. Shit happens.
You need to get off the American bashing trip. And start focusing on your own internal faults. It's not the USA's fault. It's your own.

IMO he is trying to run on a tight rope if he strikes there will be consequences why do you think Britain pulled out ? Because we can see what's coming and want to play no part in it, Iran is threatening action Russia is not very pleased as well. Dropping a bombs on innocent people stuck in a civil war is not going to solve anything cause far more pointless deaths and will trigger Iran to go ape shit on Israel.

I am all for getting the US out of the UN as much as possible. When we created the United Nations, it was to replace the League of Nations. However we have always stood by our stance that no Nation should be bound by another nation or set of nations in cases such as humanitarian, genocide and self-defense measures. There is no other country that is going to tell me if I can or cannot defend another nation or our own. Ridiculous.
Other nations that are attempting to block our involvement are doing so just to be pests. If you stand by idly and watch the USA go wherever it pleases and at least don't make some comment from the corner of the room, then you're really looking bad in 2013.

We are trying to put an end to a war so that a region can progress. Don't try to twist my words bro lol. If we can end the war by hitting a few targets and keeping the death toll to a minimum, then what is the harm? If there is no further chemical warfare used, no more deaths and blood spilling in the streets, then how can it not be considered progress?

And before you say "we have the proof" then share it obama keeps saying he has proof but won't release it, To me that just sounds like a bluff if he did have proof the UK and probably Russia would be on your side, With that proof you could win over your allies who have taken a step back.

I said this before and i'm going to say it again the US does not even know who they are helping.
A lot of the "rebels" openly admit to being al qaeda, So you would rather remove a govt and let terrorists take over ? (sarcasm) Great idea.
A lot of the "rebels" have committed horrific crimes as well did you hear about that commander eating a dead mans heart ? He sure sounds like a friendly chap suited to take over a government of a war torn country that has just been flattened by the US.
But the US is not going to let the UN investigate the war crimes committed by the "rebels" because Assad has to be removed and innocent people need bombs dropped on them because they rule the world.

All that matters Shadow is that there has been more than 100,000+ deaths since this conflict began and the death toll is rising, the fighting is getting worse, and now there's been chemical attacks. Things aren't getting better, they're getting worse.

The vast majority of people killed have been military forces on both sides, very few civilians have actually died. And it is the rebels carrying out the most inhumane attacks such as using chemical weapons on innocent people and eating hearts. The Syrian government is protecting the innocent people of Syria by attacking the terrorists.
If the U.S. wants to end it, they should be providing support to Syria by carrying out airstrikes on rebel positions.
But then a lot of other countries would get mad including Russia yes ?
If China and Russia love Syria so much then why don't they support the government and carry out air strikes against rebel positions? Are you sure that the rebels are the bad guys?
BTW the US shouldn't intervene here IMHO, just let Syria deal with his own shit.

The civilized thing to do would be to let the U.N do what they need to do, Its there job to sort shit like this out and they are trying to but the US keeps getting in the way.
You can't kill people for killing people because killing people is wrong.
In case anyone hasn't noticed yet the sole reason for the US going in and bombing Syria is because of Iran, Obama drew a redline that he made saying action would be taken if that red line was crossed, And now he has to go to and bomb the shit out of them because of that redline he made or Iran would know that they can take liberties.
The US couldn't give a shit about syrians or how many people have died more people have died from being shot than the chemical weapons in terms of death numbers the chemical weapons attack did very little. This is because of Obama's ego that the US has to get involved and won't let the U.N do what they are there to do.
