There two ways to get unlimited storage:
1- Become a VIP member and it can be achieved only by bringing decent traffic.
2- Buy a premium.

When I upload .mkv files and embed them in my website, it displays "Video is Pending in queue. Conversion stage #37". Does it mean your website will automatically convert them shortly?

Yep, depending on the size of the file it will be faster or slower.... but it will be converted automatically.

though I'd probably wait till they were converted to actually place them on your site, so visitors aren't faced with that message themselves
