Here's the short description for those who never heard about our script:

XFilesharing Pro is an advanced solution for creating professional file sharing services. It can be installed on any virtual/shared or dedicated Linux hosting. You can customize look and feel of your site with basic knowledge of HTML and place banners, adsense or other type advertisement on its pages. You also can quickly monetize your service selling premium accounts.

You can go with VPS or Dedicated server. If you're going to store everything (main + file storage) on one server, then better to use some Xeon server CPU with 16-32 RAM and SSD (for OS and DB) and as much HDD as you can afford (for storage).

When we upload per time 20 to 30 mkv files that spec handle for encoding

Hello.
When adding "hosting servers" to stream videos, what are acceptable stremiang servers?

What are the requirements for the dedicated server, what aspects are most important?

HDD vs SSD?

is 1GBPS enough, or is more required? How many concurrent users can a simple 1080p video require?

is CPU important? Or is it all about storage/internet speed?
 
Hello,
As per our experience, 1GBPs port can serve up to 100-200 streams (depends on bitrate).
CPU is important for encoding, but not streaming.
We recommend to have several servers with 1GBPs port and 10TB storage, rather than one big server with 10GBps and 60TB, for example.
SSD is always better (faster), but in terms of price it's not optimal - that's why we do not recommend to have servers with more than 20TB HDD per 1GBps port, HDD will be the bottleneck. But that also depends on files popularity, there's solution to keep popular (hot) files on SSD and old files on HDD.

mean after 1 year I need to pay 150$ to got the new version 5.2 ?!
and my actual copy become useless even if will there an issue with your script..

Script updates and support are free for the first year. After the first year, we charge $49 per year for continued support and new version updates.
Of course, your site will not stop working after one year if you decide not to extend the support/updates subscription.

Sorry but isn't a good deal for me, am not expert in coding, for me updates are made to fix the issues appear in your script, buying an extra fees to change js version of some css line inside code ... that's lead you to make new income from us, not good for the both, buyers & seller ..
