window installer problem

dear member i do have a problem with window installer program in my window Xp SP2

i did update to genuine version but still the same

i did install window installer for XP SP3 and for XP SP2 and still the same

i do get this message when i try to install a antivirus for my pc

i try to install nod32 and kis

Could be that the service is disabled so you could check for that by pressing the Start Button and then hitting "Run". In the box that appears type "services.msc" without the quotes and look for the service, if it has been disabled then re-enable it and reboot.

well that really old xp but i know that you can update windows installer something like 3.1 if i remember try updating it :P

mate i did install the window installer 3.1 but still the same

Windows XP SP2 is currently unsupported by Microsoft. Please upgrade to SP3.
