Easy question.. why did you started a warez forum?
To make money? For fun? Others?

I started my blog to make money from ads.
That was like 2 months ago - but now, I don't care about the cash.
It's more for fun now. And of course to learn some new stuff (html, php, java)

What about you?

~I hope there is no 2nd topic like this on wJ. :P

I stated my site to see what I could do by myself and what could it would be like to have a fresh start. I learn new things everyday and I just hit 4000 members today so that cool. All that and I like the fact that I can call something mine.

I made my forum to give free downloads and other free things never intended of making money off of it or learning new things from it but i did

I started mine because i wanted top learn about web mastering
and for something fun and educational (learnt alot about the law around copyright haha)
and something to do in my spare time :D

@clowner what is your forum i have seen you around other forums :D

I started a warez forum back in the old days because the one I was browsing daily went down. I made a place for all the members to go to :)

I made mine because I wanted to run my own, and didn't like the way the other sites were being run :).

Never been a follower, always been a leader.

And started it for 100% fun, never intended to make any money.

I simply needed a forum where I could maintain my programs. But the way i got into websites was 5 years ago when i joined a CSS clan. Every clan member was asigned a task an mine was to maintain the clan's site. So i started learning html etc. A few months later i took over the clan cos the original leader didn't have time for it anymore. That's when i started to take the webmaster thing serious and learned PHP, JS etc to improve the site. Did some small projects for the next 3 years while still learning the trades of webdevelopment.

Then dropped everything to learn desktop programming to finally help the scene by making free tools for it. *FF 2 years in time*. To maintain them i needed a site. Code-Projects was born...

Damn i have no clue why i just posted all of this lol :p.

I started because I had a lot of time to spare so I thought why not. My first forum was a free call of duty forum, then i got vb (legit) and started a computer forum then got board of that as i realised it would take a lot en more of my time which I didn't have.

Then I saw mechodownload which I was a mod on and then from there I always wanted to start a warez forum.

meh so it all comes down to had a lot of time to spare.
