Why did you start your site?

In start, It is/was my hobby to own a website.
Simplest method was to open a warez site bcz getting traffic is not a bid deal in warez.
Therefore started it. But now i am also earning from it :D

And I suppse for money but all I wanted was enough money to run the website + promote it

Well I didn't specify what kind of sites, I meant both: legit or illegal. I guess you're the only one who doesn't run a warez site for money. xD (joking ofc, there are many)

I personally think almost all webmasters don't spend their personal income on their sites, they instead make some profit to cover hosting & domain fees.

Nice to see some people running sites for fun, that doesn't mean they shouldn't make a profit out of their sites though.
