Well its usually the Uploaders, the only way the webmaster would earn is through adverts to their website and also the amount they get when they sell teh website thats it..
Well also the webmaster can be uploading buh thats called uploader so nah... the top reason is teh one..
lol obv webmaster it's all about the long term and ease of work uploading is constant and tedious while managing a site is cake n can be automated so webmasters in the long run short term obv uploaders since it takes time to build traffic and what not .
Uploaders? Area ye serious? That's only because your comparing it to most of the tiny websites that are one or two stars and rely on DDL traffic. If you have a decent size of a warez site you earn way more. I don't want to give private figures for sites I'm aware of but looking at figures in public have a look at the hundreds UltimA used to charge for adverts on Warezscene.org and that was a year ago.
You can make great money and even more on DDL sites if you have the right cash affiliate systems. Check that latestdownloads thread in the Webmaster's Making Money area. You have people like SplitIce and Whoo who were waiting on cheques for hundreds that got delayed they made on their DDL sites. HUNDREDS (sometimes thousands) send by wire transfers every month.
I've seen the screenshots of uploaders around here. Ye put in hours and hours into uploading, registering accounts, following Katz rules etc when DDL sites are pretty much 99% automated and watch the money roll in.
Then you get onto coders. Code something and if they don't have enough money to pay your ridiculous high fees you take a percentage of all profits. Build that up for a couple of major sites and "cha-ching". Even better code yourself an automated warezfarm that makes money uploading, adverts and cash affiliate systems on a massive scale and you'll need to hire an accountant.
