The best way is like Whoo said, host a website using your own panel, NO panel :P
Do everything manually will save lot's or memory.

Anyway for simplicity I love cPanel.

LOL, plesk is one of the best. But if you're to lazy to do anything, then cpanel.

I like Cpanel, but then again I haven't tried a lot of Control Panels.

Altrhough many people bitching, I liked Kloxo and Plesk.

But Cpanel is even on V11 not the perfect. It has still many bugs (bandwidth measurement, packages management). But I always imagine being without out Cpanel/WHM ... just impossible.

cPanel is good if you like paying. The next best free alternative is Kloxo for me. Then again, no panel = best.
