Which Instant Messenger is the best?

I am using Facebook Messenger every day and every night It has its ups and downs but it is the best for using. I also use skype for my job but it is not as good as messenger, except for the calls.

You could probably add Discord to this list now. Used amongst gamers, but is also a pretty good all rounder.

skype is no doubt the best , but their contact adding system is the worst , when you search a person by skype id , skype will not just search by id. it really is a pain when you put your skype id on website contact info.
