I think they are selling analytics data to thrid parties, so they can pay for the huge redirection traffic... thats why i think so.
Otherwise they wouldn’t able survive this.
Hello WJ user,
i heard a rumor from a friend recently, that CloudFlare is working with NSA/FBI together to scan the traffic and even unlocks SSL, that everything comes trough CloudFlare, otherwhise the CloudFlare cannot pay for its massive traffic.
What do you think?
bitporno.sx - this is a host specialized in adult streaming.
they have also embed codes and they count up to 4 times per IP/24h each videos.
they pays in bitcoin currently. (current rate 1$ = 1,000 views)
if you have questions about this host, you can PM me.
I work in the streaming host industry... so i work only with HDDs.
Are you sure that they don't use SSD ? ... It is possible that they use many small SSD's as JBOD for higher I/O.
Edit: For torrents, you can try RAID1 on all disks, write is 1x speed, but read i/o is spreaded over many disks
use your DNS as load balancer
Just add IPs on the same DNS for @ and www
for example
215.21.131.42 @
128.93.123.12 @
the vistors stream will then split in two streams to different IP each.
keep the TTL low... if one server offline, you can remove the DNS and the vistors will go to other server.
