What sites do you use to check for news from the world ?

I don't actually use news sites persay.

I follow @RT_com @bbcword @Pzfeed @YourAnonNews on Twitter

And i use a twitter client so i get notifications on my desktop (Cinnamon the linux Desktop environment has an awesome notifications thing) and when something catches my eye i click the link.

Reddit, I subscribed to news and worldnews.

Granted its not officially a news site but it has pretty much every news story of interest, and often early breaking stuff hits there before the large news sites get a hold of it.
 
I browse Times of India's World section as it has limited but most important stuff. To be honest it doesn't concern me if in some another part of the world some politician lost election or somewhere someone robbed someone. Browsing your local news media's World section can not only give you best stories but also something that concerns your country, so it keeps me interested.
