Hi everyone, as I search on the web I see that there are a lot of companies that offer RDP solutions. What is RDP good for? Is it good for big scales like a company with a dozen branches?

It's only for tiny uploaders / beginners. It's nothing more the fact 20 users are sharing one server and accessing the server using the RDP protocol. Companies like for exmaple HostDzire are taking ~15 EUR per user, 20 * 15 EUR = 300 EUR and the server does cost them ~60 / 70 EUR. So they make huge profits and users have low end specs and trashy service.

RDP = Windows VPS.

A server between x amount of users sharing resources.

I've used VPS but never RDP but i'd assume with the resource hog that iwndows is, the user experience is worse than that of a VPS.
