Every time some one creates a thread looking for a trusted/stable web host some one always replies with

Check out xxxx.com
and if you look over into the sites they operate 9/10 they own the site they recommended xxxx.com

This is annoying, and should be against the rules it happens over & over each day

Example thread:

#11 - #14 Post

it is getting ridiculous from my point of few members should be issues an infraction or get their post deleted with a warning.
I mean even if they user does own a reputable company it still should not matter imo.

And buzzhost this is not aimed towards you guys in anyway, it was a last moment thing out of ignorance.

@ Messiah

Yeah i have would anyone like to see proof ?

Point being is i don't host anymore,
And you don't see anyone such as Storming, L0cal or anyone else doing it.

And im sure the OP of the post also sure thinks it is annoying when they have to look at basically a post that is spam

So your telling me you've never done this in the past? lol
Haha Dlow loves to get owned :P

Edit: I operate my own company still but its not really something I'll bring to wjunction due to the fact its full of kiddie hosts now, oversold, underprices etc its not worth the effort for me.
In my opinion though and you will see me advertising quite alot is that KnownSRV.com are pretty much one of the best hosts here - even though they are new compared to some, they are reliable and a rock solid provider.
Which is why I tell people to go with them :P

@Dlow

I know what you mean, yes it does get annoying, just find it odd you now think it's highly annoying now you don't host anymore that's all.

I agree,

I've seen this rule in other forums, in cleans up these sorta topics by great amounts. It also shows who the 'actual' hosts are on the forum. This should be made into a rule, I plus alot of members on this forum would love to see this taken into account by the staff here.

@ Messiah

Sorry i sounded so aggressive, just been thinking of ways to help improve and clean up the community in general just as i did with the Nulled Billing Centre rule that ace took credit for when it was my idea -_-

hosting to me was always a hobby hell i hosted half of everyone here for free lol

What would be nice if, the hosting sections just have "Create thread" buttons, and no replies functions.

That way, hosters, just make the thread, they can update the thread OR post, and all the help/support can stay off here and kept on their site, unless it's a scam or something kicks off.

And ps DLow, no need to say sorry, it's all good trust me.

You do it all the time, stfu.

Phamous i don't even host anymore if you didn't have your head so far up your ass you would have read each reply now quit swinging from my ball sack like a dam porch monkey

Dlow it doesn't matter everyone understand your point but it will make hosting forum inactive and will lead in inactive community

instead just lol at those self advertisers (btw i was one of them) they will get 0 sales imo.

also its already asked by JJJ but nothing done by WJ staff

I like that idea. A topic and a lock.
