Isn't warez really fucking up the economy?

I mean, we're pirating shit and disrupting the cash flow of companies that live off of computer software and it's coming to bite us in the ass now...

its their own fault If I brought a Nero program the registration would last forever, yet the software might be outdated in a year. You buy a Anti-virus software it will be outdated in a year and your registration is expired.

How is that fair if they dont wanna lose money then stop over charging us, forcing us to get it cheaper elsewhere (or free :D)

true if software were cheap, i mean really cheap... then ppl wouldn't bother downloading warez and risk getting infected. its true ppl wudn't buy each and every software, but like the important ones AV, OS, Photoshop, Flash etc etc these definately ppl wud wanna stick with the original.

If anything would be fucking up the economy it would be the 1.000k's of $$$ the CEO's etc get. Really, why should one earn that amount of money?

And that's probably one of the main reasons why there is warez anyway. Don't ever look at warez as the bad thing. Cause and effect, warez is the effect.

Yehh, me and my friend were browsing software packages at a store the other day. Its up to $700 for software that doesn't even last a lifetime... Not to mention CS master collections..

you need to think outside the box. If you really love a band you go out and buy the cd. If you really want to see a movie u go to the theaters and watch it.

I go once a week, with my girlfriend to see a movie. I pay for it.

No warez is not fucking up the economy, the rediculus gas prices are, huge amount of taxes, and corporate big shots that want more money. They fuck it up. Not us.

The only time i dont buy software is when i can not afford it.. but i will tell you i do go out and buy software, companys also deserve some sponsorship.

If you want to play a game online u go out and buy the game.

The money companys so called lose, is a figment of their imagination. If there was absolutly no way for people to get free photoshop, they wouldnt have it end of story, they wouldnt spend their food money on software they can not afford.

The statistics that stupid company's release are on the basis that IF everyone that downloaded software/music/games/etc decided to buy it, these companys have lost 10billion a year. Which isnt true, like i said if u cant afford u wouldnt get it. PERIOD.

Which actually means these companys do not lose the money, they just dont gain it.

But once again, if u like software, or music, and u downloaded it, why not go out and buy it, support the artists, programmers, they work hard on making good things happen.

Warez is not the problem .... the problems is the useless spreading of the funds ...

In my country for example :
In the higher positions of state institutions salaries are huge ( example : a chief of a border station is earning 250k euros .... now what the fuck is that ? ) while the everyday people have crap salaries ( a teacher has a salary of 200-300euros)

+Taxes for everything ... car tax, radio tax , tv tax

We have one of the biggest gas prices in the world even if we are in the top 3 gas suppliers in europe

Another factor is the problem of the small companies ... all the large corporations do anything to kill small businesses so they can keep their big fat prices while the other small company could easily provide the same thing for half price

if you want to enhance your pc with the most powerful apps u will need like 3-5 K $ but we live on warez we download , we share , less than half of the money we should spent it on buying legal items , we spent it on sharing the illegal items :D :D its a good idea though :D we save for ourselves and for others too :D :D

Yeah, the CEO's are getting money, but the working people are also getting money and new projects are being made (meaning more job opportunities for others) through the money earned by the CEO's. Of course, that's not going to happen when their products get warez'd every time they release something...
