Warez in poor countries

Hi guys,
i was thinking if people can become rich in poor country only uploading files. ok maybe they can't earn bilions of dollars at least have a pretty decent life.
In europe/usa i'm sure that you can earn enought to "survive" also if its not so easy and you must spend a lot of time.
But in poor countries? Where with one dollar you can do many many things. I'm curious about this..
i hope to not seem too stupid.

I think that in poor countries do not have paypal good internet speed 4 upload...
Im from serbia, maybe is poor country 4U. But in Belgrade, you can not buy anything with a dollar mate.

i was talking about asia where with a dollar you can do really many many things (think about that people earn 50$ in a month).
 
warez ffs is meant to be free....
money earnt through prostitution can do much more in poor countries,if thats what you meant

I agree - sharing is what makes it morally okay in my book. Uploading for money is not sharing. However, if I lived in a 'poor' country, I'd do whatever I had to do (including hooking ;) ) to earn enough money to survive.
 
which country are you from...i am from India and many people survive for about 1$/day...even you will get 3 brand new T-Shirts for 1$ in India :P

I doubt if they could do anything with $50, of course if that $50 is their only source of income - which is not true, they otherwise wouldn't have Internet access, as Internet obviously isn't that cheap in third world countries.

I'm not saying that $50 is useless, but it definitely isn't enough.
 
1 $ = 43INR

you cant get a t-shirt in 43 rs in India

A good branded t-shirt ll cost you around 700-1.5k INR

so i dont think india comes in Poor countries :P
 
I don't mean to be an asshole, but It's very subjective.
I mean if you have 500-600$ for a PC, you definitely aren't poor or starving.
Again you'd have to invest 40-50$/month for bills.

Also, remember that uploading, is very monotonous and uninteresting.
You don't learn anything (or hardly learn).
No skills needed.

I don't think anyone would do it for a living.
Instead you could develop some skills and use them instead.

Whereas you could be in a developing country and 50$ is quite something.

no. it's funny because everyone who uploads warez is a teenager. well 95% of uploaders on WJ who do for money is teenager.

1, their parents pay for living expenses, food and house
2, some parents would make their teen pay for their own mobile phone bills and internet. When i was in high school. i paid for my own internet.

Other than that. you are not poor. Parents from india or asia do not like their teenage child to work unless they need to. i know many families in south east asia where parents work 2-3 jobs so their kid goes to school. in india and asia, school and education is very important. family and parents would do anything so their child graduates high school and goes to college.

Point is. Most of you uploading for money don't need to do it. Most of you have family who would support your every need until you go to college.


then again i live in a country where minimum wage is US$16 P/H so for me getting a real life job and working 1 hour in mcdonalds would get me more money than uploading for 4 days.

Everyone has his story.And a respectful way to see this.For example i upload to give to community but i earn through it.Also i have a job,family and friends.So i have one salary,and with uploading i earn 2 more.So i have 3 salaries.But i pay everything myself.Food,internet,walks,vacations,gas etc etc etc.

50$ is lot in my country...There is too hard to earn 100$-200$ in a month in my country..
 
Yes, they do. you know what ? in my country, the gov pay ~100usd for a teacher/a worker with 1-2 year experiences. Lmao , and very hard to find a job with good income. So 50 Usd meaning something right?! and with 5-10usd daily by uploading 300usd monthly, they can survive and its pretty good . Thats why you can can see almost uploaders come from asian countries. Its not a job but at least you can survive at present.
