Mate, you have a VERY low standard of living. I don't think you even completed your school. And I strongly believe that you were sent away from house for watching porn (gay may be?) all the day. I doubt you have a home. You'll probably sleep on footpaths, wake up in the morning and make your way to a cyber cafe and do your earning, I mean uploading.
In my case, I completed my school, I'm doing graduation. I sleep in my bed room, ofcourse on my bed. Wake up in the morning, read news, work out and then move to college. I ofcourse upload, but just for fun. You may see my older threads, every penny I earned from uploading moved to the accounts of the other person, he is too poor, trust me.
What I'm trying to say is, study well, do part time jobs. If you do those, you need not buy 3 T-SHIRTS for $1. I hope you'll it take the right way! All the best for your future.
The same applies mate, may be they are not well educated. I'm sure if your education is good you'll ultimately earn good, yes in India.
My great grand father, was educated upto high school (In 1920's, he stopped because of family conditions). My grand father was graduated, he earned more than 1000/- Rs in THOSE days, he worked as a government employee. My dad, was graduated too. He is earning more than $1500 per month, which is a good income in India. and I'm doing a part time job while studying and I'm earning $500/m.
Please don't think otherwise, I'm just saying the facts. You may think, how low income groups are going to get education? Indian governments pays for their education. Its true that only some of them concentrate.

Yes its mostly true, if you study well, there are a lot of good earning jobs, but if you are lazy in study, you probably end up doing labour, which doesn't do well.
It depends on your standard, uploading for extra bucks is fine, but soley depending on is, just risky, you never know when your account will be banned, ISP block you or more serious troubles.
Uploading may earn you few bucks, but it shouldn't be the only income source.
Its not that studies can make a fortune. You need to have brains to climb up and reach the apex of the society.
But, still I'd like to contradict myself. Education is must and by having a good education, you can atleast have a secured future and a well-planned living, that you wouldn't go on begging or do labour jobs.
Earning from filehosts is a good way to increase your spending money on useless stuffs. Though I don't upload, but I earn from web designing and "other" things. I usually spend it on luxury things :p (things which aren't necessary, but are eyecandy). For once, I gave all the money to my dad as I haven't thought what to do with it. Also, my second thought for earning online is for experience. Its like you meet every new person everyday and you have to interact with them and make the deal going. It definitely helps you in some way or the other.
I started using computers at the age of 5 and internet when I was 14. Till now I have learned many things which my peers don't even know how to do it. Its like out of interest you learn and then you excel.
I was a noob when I joined the warez scene, back in the days. Anyone could fool me or scam me and I used to type like a moron. But slowly, I learned the proper way for typing instead of the lame SMS language.
Anyways, long story short, earn from warez only for spending and not as a necessary trait for living.

Couldn't agree with you more.
But, to be smart one needs to study. Dull minds start to freak out and change the way they think when it comes to studying.
So study teaches you skills, shows you how hard life can be if you don't study, teaches you how much you need to labour to get good marks/ reach excellency.

Yes, you are right. But you need both education (school, college) and general knowledge that you learn yourself. Learning just for exams isn't going to improve you :P
I guess I'm in the minority then
- I'm in my mid 20s
- Have a post graduate degree
- Live in India
- Have a full time job with a decent salary
Why do I do it? Well, working on warez 1 hour after work everyday can actually make enough $$ to pay my monthly instalments on a car loan and have some left for a few beers every week! :D :D
Warez is a good way to have some additional income and it helps if you are in the developing world because of the disparity in cost of living
