PhpBB has a much better feel then VB
UMM WELL i gotta find out soon :D
Why not try both once? lol There's no harm in knowing the features of both of them beforehand :P

Run vB + phpbb in different directories and check for the features + plugins + mods + themes available. -_-

I have a good experience in both, so by features it's vB. And by maintainance phpbb is far better :|.

umm well good idea i'll try the both and see what i can do ...

i hope i can make something good cause i am about to spend a lot of money on it . going to buy ads at katz , Wj and katzfourms
so i have to do something to make people like my forum ... :D

It's either phpBB3 or IPB3.

Don't use vB...it fails. Period.

IPB3 is currently the leading forum software because of its feature rich core and ease of installation and modifications. There are many mods available for it and some pretty professional looking themes.

phpBB3 is lighter and consumes less resources, but is a little more difficult to mod and customize if you're not versed in HTML/CSS and to a certain extent PHP.

So if you want simplicity and open source, then I'd go with phpBB3.
If you want lots of features and built-in SEO features, then go for IPB3.

use phpbb man its lot safer or buy original vb,my nulled vb forum got hacked by some hackers many time nulled vb suxxxxxx man.............

Watch out for vB 3.8.6 database credentials disclosure exploit.
Only use PL1!
thanks for the information
Vbulletin is soo much easier to use and fast to set up.
yea it's :D

UMMM interesting ... :D
Go for DGT release (y)
Alright i'll check it out :D
i hate so much Ip.board
totally use too many useless feature IMO
and
that's the point
make it heavier than VB (even it VBsuite)
i love phpbb3
as it is for me
easy to develop
and most secure forum
can't wait phpbb 3.1 (hope it will rock phpbb3)
i never tried IPB ...
but phpbb is good for me cause i have some experience
will of course go with phpbb why bcz its free u dont need to vb tht have always bugs
yeah i guess if don't get original vb then it's not safer and for sure i'll get a lot of bugs ... then i'll go with phpbb since it is free and more secure :D
vbulletin 3.8.x is my favourite forum :D
well didn't try it yet so i can't tell but thanks for the information :D

That's a really good information for me . thank you very much :D

i'll go with phpbb3 :D

phpBB3 is really good, its light and the ACP is easy to handle. You just need to be confident with code editing, not really understand them though :P

vB is no doubt very good, but can't comment because I never used vB for live forum, only tested on homeserver. But certainly its not as light as phpbb3 imo
