Very good filehost.

My only problem is that i don't get good upload speed via FTP.

I tried many servers but now the average upload speed i am getting is very low (about 350 KB/sec from German RDP), so i am uploading via Webupload where upload speed is better.

This is something i would like Upstore team to fix (FTP upload speed), because as far as I remember FTP upload speed was always low.

But in general, Upstore is a nice filehost.

What about you, guys?

Do you get good upload speed via FTP upload?

Everything is fine bout this file host, my visitors love it. They just need to fix the upload speed (ftp and web upload) that is all.

Small thing to make this host perfect!!!

Hi,

It might seem like an extreme action to be taken by a file-host (in general circumstances), but this file-host is known to TERMINATE your account and delete ALL your files if the files you upload receive consistent DMCA reports.

Hi Godric,

Please refer to this:

It should be pretty self-explanatory.

Well I'm working with them more the 1 month, and I received 5 copyright abuses only from them
From other hosts I received much more
They don't delete files beacuse of copyright a lot as I can see

Hi,

Upstore.net has a well developed system, but they are not using it to the best of their ability. I know that file-hosts are supposed to handle DMCA requests swiftly and seriously, but terminating accounts of their customers for repeated copyright infringements is something that is a bit extreme, in my honest opinion.

If the file-host would have been facing serious legal issues (like we have seen happening with some of the old, now non-existent file-hosts), then, deleting the accounts of their customers would be justified. However, I doubt that is the situation that they are facing at the moment, which is why this action was really surprising to me.

We can talk for hours round and round, but it all comes down to this: the file-hosts know the fact that a large portion of their business is based upon copyright infringements; and while there might be legitimate users of their service, their businesses' profit largely relies upon illegal activities. Now, when you start deleting your customers' accounts this fast, you know that it is very unhealthy for your business. Since people wouldn't really risk doing business with a company which deletes accounts and all the customer's files at once after 1 or 2 DMCA requests.
