There are still 2 of the skins that I am not completely done with however the rest are pretty much done. The site is an anime discussion board with (what when finished will be) a download section with over 2000 anime series, movies and OVA's and tens of thousands of direct downloads and torrents. The download area is still being designed and uploads being loaded, so that isn't up for review yet. Right now I'm just interested in reviews of the forum itself. Ok, so here it the link. Be honest, I will take any constructive criticism seriously and honestly try to apply the opinions to make a better site.

no offence but i really dont like it, heres how to improve
1:Never us an animated banner, 2 distraction
2:you skin needs some room, set the width to 95% and center it
3: SKins too plain, add some gradients, etc
4:Get a better colorscheme.

Logo Banner looks off, needs centering or bg colour changed.
Don't animate it.
The banner ad need to be centered.
The colour scheme is meh, needs to be spiced up.

I have already designed a manga reader with dreamweaver. I just plan to wait till the download section is done before I add it.

I like my banners, the aren't that big of a distraction and they are unique. In the long run they will help set the site apart from all the thousands of other anime sites on the web. If people have such short attention spans that they can't get over the distraction of an animated banner chances are they will not be much of an asset to the community either way.

I have some fixed skins and some fluid ones, as different people prefer different styles I took the time to offer a variety of choices.

There are 6 skins that have been designed for the site, all of them have different color schemes, statiscons, icons, buttons, gradients, etc, each unique to the skins in question.

Every skin has it's own color scheme.

Thanks for the offer but since this was replied to by you, I have added another skin, completed 2 that were only in their beta stage when you viewed it and worked out all the bugs in the site. It is obvious from your post that you only bothered to look at a single skin, because if you had then most of what you posted you would have known, at best, only applied to a single skin.

The ad banner is centered that way because there is a download tracker banner that fits next to it and fills the space that was only added yesterday. Had you took the time to look at more than one skin like timtamboy (who also couldn't be bothered to review an entire site rather than stopping at the first page then offering an opinion as if every skin was exactly the same) you would have known this. None of the banners will be the same when I am finished. They are all a work in progress. I am seeing what works and what doesn't, how I can line up banners next to each other, how different sizes fit with different skins. All that will work out in it's own time, I have over 60,000 episodes and anime movies still left to upload so perfecting the banners isn't my top priority at this point, regardless when I do reach that point they will still be animated. As I said before, it is one thing that will set my site apart from the rest.
