I dont upload for money :O I use Rs Primary to share files and it is fast for free users
Also its not cheap to mass download/upload to Rs now.. still you dont see me complaining, its about sharing.

The problem is spending good $ on Rs premium to share files with other people and then they close your account for doing it (and then will delete all your files)

Can all uploaders please stop thinking of your own wallets and stop telling Katz how to run their site. They have search by File Host on their site and know exactly what downloaders are looking for.
If and when downloaders stop searching for Rapidshare I'm sure they'll remove it. Until then shut the fuck up about it and stop thinking about your money hungry, greedy, self centered, ignorant selves.

I swear. I wish file hosts never started paying and all ye would disappear. This is the one thing that has gone massively wrong in warez in recent years. Ye have turned "Sharing is Caring" to "Sharing is Money"

did you buy rapids? This is the reason why many people are getting locked
including myself. Bought rapids and it turned out to be a scam. Either hacked or the seller claims its unauthorised and so they get their rapids back and you lose your account.

Some people like to keep their files even after 60 days of inactivity. Some people also like to keep backups just in case original files get deleted. Every host other than RS keep user files for an indefinite time period for premium members.

I know a friend who has uploaded 5 TB of files to HF and never had any problems. HF is true to their word. When they say unlimited storage, they mean it.

yea RS died. HF and FS is best at the moment. Fs has no rank it makes it 1 step forward, and it counts all world downloads. HF doesnt cound DL from india and china ips.

i have to say i agree with you on both points, and frankly it is pretty annoying that some people seem to only care about the money, you should be uploading to provide a working link/help someone and not think oh i will make $4 if i use hotfile, $15 if i use fileserve and $0 if i use rapidshare.. and i am only uploading for the dollar so i must go upload to fileserve, despite the fact their servers are not as good as rapidshare for downloaders, i just want my dollars, same with the webmasters who on their $4 shared hosting plaster CPALead all over their website which is equally anoying and equally money hungry.


Rapidshare has good servers and although they are more expensive than other hosts, when not downloading in happy hour, they are still have the best equipment, especially compared to fileserve.


If people started caring more about the downloaders like it used to be, (and like Katz clearly does, hence they require a rapidshare link) then they would provide links downloaders want which is rapidshare, hotfile and maybe megaupload, but not fileserve and all the other billion and one hosts that seem to popup every day.

I still use RS for the simple reason is the speed, and with the new rapids system I have an acc which lasts me for more than 3 years - it's all win-win xD
