If Rapidshare had unlimited storage I'd keep using it. But it hasn't :(
You need to pay for it or let files be deleted after 60 days with no download.

Really sad. :(
This was a terrible move to RS...


About "Sharing is Money", does any one donate money to webmasters to keep sites open? No. We need to pay everything from our own pocket.
 
How come everybody gets faster speeds from RS than MU besides me?

maybe the country you guys are on? but i believe in USA MU is faster?

Seriously, if you see the no. of times the files are downloaded, RS pwns by a huge extent even if you place it at the bottom of your thread from which it is clearly evident that most downloaders still prefer RS.
 
WTF wrong with u people ??? why some people still crying for RS???? I dont upload for money too ..but I m uploading 100MB + files to Megaupload ??? I dont get any reward points when uploading 100MB + files to MU .. MU dont screw their users like RS ..+ they offer more benefits than RS like Unlimited Storage ..

They don't. They are just RS fanboys who are not willing to admit that both MU and HF offer better deals than RS at the moment for both downloaders and uploaders. High speed is useless when a host like RS puts such huge constraint on bandwidth. I would rather go for a host giving unlimited bandwidth than one with 30gb per month.

To be honest both MU and HF offer similar speeds as RS. I think MU offers better speed to free users than RS does to it's premium users.

I personally ignore posts with only RS links these days. I don't like keeping a tab on how much I download.
 
Katz won't remove RS as long as downloaders keep downloading from them. Many downloaders have never heard of anything but RS since they are the oldest company and not everyone is aware of the changes in the file hosting world.

We need to educate the downloaders that they can get unlimited downloads at the same speed from MU & HF. May be then they will start switching. When you upload for any forum or your site, leave a small one line note explaining this to downloaders.

I Agree man, I dont know why people love to download from Rapidshare when MU gives free users better speeds
 
I got my Rs account restored :)

after 4 emails I asked them to delete all my files as they contained warez and it was paying there wages....

your account has been reactivated.

We had to remove the Rapids that were purchased through an unauthorized
channel.

Not rly, I got an RS, MU, HF and FS prem acc and I still download using RS. MU gives me average speeds, HF is shit, I would be happy to get anything above 50kbps on HF while I get 2mbps on RS.
That's as a downloader but as an uploader, RS makes life EASY. Of course not everyone uploads for rewards, I make sure every post on my site has RS links before submitting. We have tools like RUM and the speed of uploading is just wonderful. While HF bans tons of servers which is plain bullshit. FS is nice too but it's still new and till now it's trying to fix all it's bugs. For now, I only see one awesome host and that's still RS. Many of you are whining cause you don't have Rapids or such. Instead with their new system, I have a prem acc which is gonna last me for years. And I am not a bad uploader who uploads 40 movies or smth, I upload just 5-10 a day, I find RS best for me. =]

you all a bunch of fuckers that like to take people accounts away because people are getting points from other users as i been doing research and they been getting account locked because they been getting points so why have a fucking point system and when people get them and after about few weeks there account is locked fucking stupid well i wont be coming back to rapidshare again

i have rs premium but frankly speaking i prefer to download with hotfile and mu i get the same speed 250-270kb/sec this all about your location like people in france prefere mu they hate rapidshare even prefere hotfile over it!for me rapidshare should die now!why not make only mu primary this is a very stable host and file dont get deleted like in rapidshare hotfile etc!u can even get stuff uploaded one year before on it they dont delete file quickly like some host!
