Because the original file only has 1 quality, 720p. We only encode multi-quality when the original file is multi-quality.
The only way for a video file to have multiple video qualities is for it to contain several tracks of the same (video) embedded in the same container, but the truth is, I have never seen this (and I don't think I will see it either).

It is assumed that when talking about encoding in multiple resolutions (multi-quality as you call it), they should start from the maximum resolution of the original file, and decrease to the lowest they support.

For example: Original file (1080p) => New File (720p) => New File (480p) => New File (360p)

Subtitles embedded in files with an MP4 container are not extracted, but with MKV, they are recognized.
Are they going to repair it?

I apologize for misleading you. The multi-quality we are referring to is the support for encoding videos in different qualities. (Certain platforms encode the user's video to a single quality by default)

This is why I am telling you, because my 720p file was only encoded in the same original resolution, but not in the lower resolutions (such as 480p, 360p) that you have defined?

Can you send me a mp4 link or file so I can check? You can also send it via pm
I left you private regarding this bug, I remain attentive.

Thank you !!

The multi-quality we are talking about is supporting the correct video quality encoding regardless of the video quality. I will try to explain it in a more understandable way. Sorry for causing misunderstanding for readers

Why do you say that? We are all independent platforms and we strive every day to improve and provide the best experience for our users and viewers. You are saying this as if you are dismissing all our efforts. 🙁
Almost all your features are the same, even the 2 pop ads things. Except you don't allow adult content. That's why I said that.

We are all video hosting, it is normal to have similar features, right? Not only upnshare, we can be similar to many other platforms on the market. However, that is only for now - when we first launch, in the future we listen to user opinions to update features to help users have a better experience. And then we are just RPMShare and not like anyone else.

I did not understand. Could you explain well ?
Currently the standard qualities are 240p, 360p, 480p, 720 HD, 1080 full HD. However, if your video is 532p or any quality, we will still encode the quality of your video and not change it to standard quality. And if your original video has two qualities, we will encode both qualities for you.
