Rapidshare ain't givin $ anymore :-(

Fail. Once their uploaders smelled money, they got used to it and I'm afraid they'll try to smell it again on a different file host.
 
@ fanobliv.... you may not care..but if it wernt for uploaders we wouldnt have anything to download and sites like this would be history. And all the warez sites around would all have been in vain! :(

Thank you for your feedback.

Our referrer program was introduced in June 2009 as test trial for all of our
users. Unfortunately the program did not bring the planned success we were
hoping for. Therefore it has been decided to discontinue the program in its
current form. We thank all participants which took advantage of the given
opportunity.
Of course all previously ordered pay-offs will be processed as promised.

We can understand that the customers which did use the experimental system
will bid farewell with a tear in their eye. Please note that we stated in our
FAQ that the Referrer Program was in an experimental stage and we reserved the
right to change or stop it at any time.

Also keep in mind that Rapidshare.com will continue to release new features
and benefits for all customers. Be assured that the future will bring many
upgrades and innovations.

I really didnt upload to RS for money,lol i never crossed the 50000 Premium points :P
I just upload to RS for fun coz i find it fun and its my hobby :)

For money,
We can use HF as mirrors to RS :)
But we need to upload a lot for that ;)

Yeah can also confirm this as the moneyinfo is gone from the account/s. What Royal King posted says it all in my view. As a uploader I must say that this wont change my view on Rapidshare as I seen and learned too much crap about the other filehosters and I dont share anyway for the cash but for pure joy...

I uploading on RS for about 5years (before RS.de)
I was uploading and still uploading for fun and to help others people.

I know that they cash rate (per 1k PP) was very shitty (better take real job)

But .. wtf ?
..I don't like how people saying that they don't care money

For cash from RS i paying my hosting, i buying ads etc.


Like someone said Money is God :) (this is little joke but still..)

I uploaded a shitload in the past, i do not care about earning money with uploads. Only sad people from india want money for it.

sure money makes the world turn.. and for those saying Warez would be dead if filehosts didnt pay... bullshit,Warez has been around since most the new gen uploaders were still in diapers,and no one was making any money from uploading,or filesharing << ooooo theres that word again FILESHARING .. tht is what Warez is suppose to be,not about uploading to make money,if thats the only reason you are in it for i think your in the wrong scene
 
yea , you're right ... but now ppl found that they can get money for sharing .. so they won't stop doing it for money..

I'm not somekind cash whore
I just saying that rs helped pay for my vps

I will still store my files on RS even he not paying enymore.

It was good deal, uploading files, and get payed for that
but now it's a past and i accept that.

@image.... you hit the facking nail on the head there! Damn right! If only there was not so many fairy tale money grabbers and a few more reality guys ! I still can remember when half the posters on the net were my age...40+! Only 15 years ago we used to wait with a DSL connection (germany) fo a film that took 9+ hours to download! And the oldies were grateful that we were downloading from them even though they gained nothing from it! Bring back the good old days of unsrelfish uploaders and REAL good, honest uploaders!
 
ya man i remmebr tht to.. getting a ftp with 100kb/s to download something from was like gold lol.. and of course scanning/tagging and filling ftps didnt pay anything lol.. even when i was uploading ripped games to the http scene tht came around was just to share.. ripping games.. and uploading them in 3.5mb packets and ul to places like Geoshitties or Tripod back in the day
 
I like to upload for RS it's a hobby. But It's good if you can earn money with it :) I hope they come with a feature where you can create year accounts :)
