lifetalk told me its a server thing.

test to see if you have the same problem by doing a file under 200mbs

Lifetalk, how to fix this server thing? As far as my knowledge goes, its browser timimg out. The upload finishes successfully, it mails after the upload is complete... But the browser already times out... When are you coming on msn?

Hmm Working Fine For me

Small sized files take less time, so it works...

P.S.2: work completed, i bet many users like ShareShiz and RiteshH would be happy with this xD

Have fun guys <_< >_>

Yes, here is the download link. This'll email the progress and the post to the user even if the page times out.

Thanks v3g3t4 for making it.

Link bellow

Ps. Vegeta did all the work on it :)

Quick Fix:

Find:
PHP:
if (!empty($_POST['links'])) {

Add After:
PHP:
    ignore_user_abort(true);

Now you can calmly close the browser/tab and wait for the mail.

It's not a browser timeout. The same browser will execute till the script is done processing on another server.

It's a configuration issue with either php's config file (php.ini) or the apache config. I'm not sure since I dont have a server that has this issue lol. But if I get a chance, I'll try to look into it.

Meanwhile, I'll implement logging support in a day or two.

Can any of you recommend a good host for this?

This one is good too. Worth getting.

Awrite, that's a relief. lol

Now send me some $$ for the update >_>

Edit: lifetalk, logging feature isn't needed as for now. The new script mails the whole log!

Edit2: ShareShiz, update the mtn binary file (in mtn/ dir). Upload it again and chmod to 777.
Just put the link, check the options, hit the button to start process and close the tab/browser. It'll mail you the whole log when the process is completed.(if mail option is checked)
Also there's no log.txt

The browser waits for about 2~5 minutes before timing out (depending on the browser type). It is a common problem executing long php processes which does not result in an output. It'll wait for a long time then just disconnect from the website (as said on opera forums).

Vegeta have fixed this browser timeout issue. Now the PHP script will run in background even if the browser times out and he even implemented a email feature that'll email the user if the browser dies.

I dont see a reason to do so, but its your choice. I think emailing user as soon as process is complete (along with the whole post template) is good enough as now u can close the tab and just wait for the email with the exact post content to arrive, copy from email and post to sites :)

if you needa test Life just hit me up.

guess i gotta make new email account ;) .. might actually be better. get email update once file is done.

To everyone using email on upload feature, use gmail or own website hosted mail service. Hotmail/Yahoo/Rest of them sucks and you wont get your mail most of the time, and even if you do, it'll be too late!

Also check your spam folder for the email if you cant find it in your inbox.
